Homer's absolutely right. Everyone should check the Rules of Use. Marty added this rule yesterday.

Exactly, and this is the Chit Chat forum. It would be different, IMO, if we were cluttering up the "artist's forums" with this stuff. Besides, some of em are funny!

I have been thinking about that a lot lately, but didn't really want to mention it. I don't post that much compared to a lot of people, so in a way it sometimes makes me feel like what I think doesn't matter. Sometimes lately if feels like I'm just finding threads and threads of what really are, or maybe should be PM's. I feel like I'm interrupting conversations. I agree with what the mods are saying about the "official" threads and I'd add the polls too. You can say it's assumption, but some assumptions are correct, aren't they? It seems pretty obvious that all of the official threads and polls poped up in response to one paticular users most likely innocent, albeit excessive and repetative posts. There's a huge difference between someone being a little overzealous and others doing the same thing purpously to make a point.

People can say "well, just don't read the thread if you don't like it", and for the most part I don't, but sometimes some good conversations come out of bad threads.

It does seem like many familiar names have faded away recently, and maybe the direction things are taking is part of the reason? I guess these kind of things happen in waves though. Perhaps it's due to somewhat of a lack of activity with the band, but then again Lindsey and Stevie are both on the road, so who knows. Winter boredom?

Thanks. It's from the November 5, 1999 Entertainment Weekly. There was a small article about Dallas Austin producing tracks on TISL (wonder if they'll ever surface). The caption was "The Beat Queen: Stevie gets phat" I should actually change "Stand Back" to Stevie gets Phat" LOL. On edit: I figured I should give credit to the illustrator. It's Eric Palma.

I know! Well, maybe not exactly like that. I don't think she could pull off the mid drift shirt. I think her hair would look really cool that way too.

It was a facetious response to Homer's "we can't post freely here" comment in a thread where I think everyone has done a fine job of freely speaking their minds.

Sorry if it was too subtle.

Dammit. I read through all the rules trying to find the change

But hey - at least now I'm updated on the rules.

I WAS asked a question, IN the forum, which I could not honestly answer, IN the forum. Thus my response.
Tru dat.

You're a fine Ledgie, Deanna and I think everyone should follow your example.

Well done.

If you are only able to answer the question by using language that is harrassing, insulting, taunting, nasty or of the name-calling variety, then that is indeed true. I appreciate your honesty.

But there's ONE subject that we're all AFRAID to even mention.

My response is the same.

AND if you have true concerns, you certainly could have addressed them in a PM, but to my knowledge (and I could be wrong) none of the moderators have gotten a PM from you concerning whatever unspeakable issue it is that you can't address. Personally I think you're having too much fun hanging from your cross, but that's just me and not an OFFICIAL position.

I responded to the question this thread posed...but a thank you for assembling thoughts on my posts.

More like the repeated labeling of not only someone's posts, but that person, as immature, a troll, complete with demands to "stop posting," and "go away."

Just to clarify.
