I just had my car detailed when it when in for it's scheduled maintenance. Right now there are just my CD's, a scraper/snow brush in the trunk, Kleenex, Armor All wipes and some extra washer fluid in case I run out.

o.k. JUST what I can think of

two birthday cards. one is late, one will be late wednesday
tennis racket with balls
2 baby presents
mcdonald's bags
a few pairs of tennis shoes (because...you never know when you need to make a run for it)
my ipod charger. Well, NOT the ipod charger. it came with two. the one that doesn't fit MY ipod is in my car. the one that actually fits is in the house
3 coach purses. (i think this has been covered)
my humane society t-shirt that I need to wash.
a bouquet from a wedding
my GIFT that I received for being IN the wedding
my bridesmaid dress.
and shoes
random receipts, paystubs, paperwork
earrings
pens
chapstick, lipstick, lotion, lighter, bobby pins, ponytail holders.

I'll stop now.

I can honestly say that my car is completely empty The sound of stuff shifting around as I slew round a corner drives me nuts

i love this thread! i missed it first time around - must have been the weekend i was away. i used to keep my car pristine. then i got my dog.

so weird things in my car... i guess the hors d'oeuvre spreading knife i lost in the trunk qualifies. i can hear it moving around when i turn corners - but damned if i can find it!

hand cream, lip balm, and anti-bacterial hand wipes. is that weird?

about 23 tennis balls. probably a couple of broken, chewed-up ones among them. a chuk-it. probably a beloved stick that just couldn't possibly be left behind at the park.
