I think dissention's LJ is friends only. I guess I'm one of the chosen, since I'm on his friends list?

He posts to it sporadically...we had an exchange just this past weekend regarding Marianne Faithfull and Angelo Badalamenti. He's one of the few Ledgies who has decent taste in music.

Hi, Marky!!

While I haven't been posting as much as I used to, it isn't due to any drama here. I have work issues, social issues, and have been feeling extremely lazy and have an overall "bleh" feeling.

Three things that'll knock me outta my funk:

1) The democrats take back congress in November.

2) I lose 50 pounds.

3) I get up the wherewithal/urge/desire to give my house a long overdue Spring cleaning..... OY!!

I am very much in a wistful, Galadriel-diminish-and-go-into-the-West mood as of late. *** yes, I'm a drama queen- whatever ***

Well, I'm glad you're still alive, at least.

I'm counting down the days until the lease for my apartment in the ghetto that I'm never at is up so I can "officially" move in with my boyfriend. We're getting a much bigger place in the next couple of months and I can't wait, as his current place is a bit cramped, plus he's a horrible pack rat.

Oh, and not that anyone cares, but I will be taking formal vows as a Buddhist and joining Nichiren Shu in January or February. I'm pretty excited about that, too.

I have given up hope of this ever happening, sadly. I mean, Lindsey is actually releasing one and she's not even writing any songs, if that is any indication.

If that doesn't happen a foresee the onset of the worst depression and sense of hoplessness that I have felt for some time. As it is, I am at the end of my rope with the current state of affairs. Here's hoping.
