September 29 & 30 (Fri and Sat). Again, Stevie is not yet confirmed for these shows.

Well, lessee - Nicksfix confirms her presence after the shows have taken place. Other sources, from what I've gathered, maybe confirm it the week of, or the day of.
My big school loan comes around Sept. 23rd. I would say, if you don't love Petty, and have to see Stevie, then don't book your flight now. Unless you are into the "hang out with ledgies" part. But that weekend goes fast, you want to make sure it's worth it to you. The bad part is, flights get more expensive the closer you get. The good part is, probably more Petty tix will turn up that last week.
My "house" is full, except for floor/couch room, but maybe "someone" would want to share a hotel, I dunno. I say "someone" in quotes b/c so far the only people I know who have a hotel are Jason.

Obviously, a third person is welcome to my floor, but that's no way to live!!!

(Carrie was on my floor, but due to her recent laptop mishaps, is out. Unless she takes Homie and Haley's advice, and just gets the monitor.)
I gotta say, the weekend will consist of shows, and limited hours before the shows to do stuff, with yummy planned eating before the shows. The best part will probably come after the shows, when we all go out and act a fool, Stevie style. "Well it's a real long way to go - to actafool! I thought I already did that! Have fun withtheledgies!"
But if you are trying to consolidate it into only the weekend, it is only really Friday night (assuming you get here then) Show - Then Saturday day - then Show - then...either you'll have Sunday, or you'll have to travel back on Sunday. If you can get the Monday off, and the Friday, you might be more stoked - if not it will be an expensive trip for 1-2 shows and some good food and a smidge of sightseeing.

I'm thinking, Jason. The biggest problem would be explaining to my husband about flying across the country to hang out with strangers (you're not strangers to ME of course, but you know) to see Tommy Petty and Stevie. I must think and work on this. Jason, if we shared a hotel room, would you help me with my hair and make-up and make me look fabulous?

Seriously - I hope you can come - but the cheaper it is, I think the more okay your husband will be. If he cares because of jealous reasons, say you'll be with gay men and chicks - if he cares for money reasons, you'll have to finagle that one.
I'm not good with the husband thing, though - perhaps you should ask Paula - but her husband is seemingly really cool and trusting. But still. If it helps, you won't get into any trouble here, the main issue that you guys might want to talk about will be financial.

I don't know from here if your husband will be mad about the financial or the 3 days spent apart - if it's financial, y'all will have to work it out, if it is for any other reason, he doesn't have any reason to worry. I mean, sesly, it's only for 3 days.

So, I guess my point is, if the problem is for other than financial reasons, your hub doesn't have anything to worry about. How much debauchery could even happen when you are hanging out with so many straight girls and gay men?! NONE!

The most worst thing that could happen is some bad singing, and possibly some alchohol overindulgence without repercussions. Heck, if it gets you off his back, I'll be personally responsible for your sluttiness!

Mostly we'll be hanging out singing Stevie songs. *shrug* totally innocent.
