Who else do we all love AFTER/OTHER THAN Stevie

[amber]

No one. No one at all.

[Sahara]

Great to see so many people love Elton John! Hurray!! I'm going to his concert at the end of next month ... fourth row, aww yeah!!!

I'm also completely nuts about Tears for Fears and Roland Orzabal. I really hope he / they do another album. I missed them on their last tour because the venue was over 18s only. I'd love to see them live.

[GarboSpeaks!]

Other than Stevie, my other duo are Siouxsie Sioux and Dan Hicks. THEN you have my ardent love for all things 80's, in particular the "alternative" of the 80's. A lot of the one hit wonder bands/songs.
Then I love all 70's classic rock. Next choice of sound would be a tie for 40's big band stuff then 20's Cotton Club jazz.

In firt order, then after #2 no particular order
Siouxsie & The Banshees/Creatures
Dan Hicks

Sinead O'Connor
ELO
Fiona Apple
Blondie/Debbie Harry
Supertramp
Firefall (ONCE in a while)
Talking Heads (Stop Making Sense an essential MUST!)
ABC
Ok, then um, 80 alt,
70's rock
40's Big Band
20-30's Cotton Club Jazz
then
Scott Joplin (My chill, creative music doseage. lol)
Does that narrow it down? =0D

[Rickypt]

All after Stevie and not in order:

Dolly Parton
Maria McKee
Cyndi Lauper
Lucinda Williams
Annie Lennox
Jessi Colter
Tom Petty with or without Heartbreakers
Patricia Kaas

[SpyNote]

I also love the music of...

(recommendations in parentheses)

Neil Finn (Sessions at West 54th, DVD)
Aimee Mann (Bachelor No. 2, CD)
Natalie Merchant (VH1 Storytellers, DVD)

And all the ladies of the dance floor (Ciara/Deborah/Faith/Janet/Kelly/Madonna/Mariah/Mary/Rhianna).

oh god, that's like asking me to pick a favorite pet.

if I had to choose, I'd say Songbird. it's probably my favorite album. after that, I'd say Wet.

really? i only have songbird on cassette, and i haven't listened to it in a long, long time ... and i've never heard wet. as far as my favorites ... i love her second album, simply streisand, and the broadway album ... but it changes depending on what i've been listening to recently.
