Yes, my day is better. I finished work at about 4:30 and I ain't done nothin since and am going to bed soon. I watched Igby Goes Down, that poor little bastard. My Mufy is my snuggle bunny because my roommate is away so that is sweet.
wish i had a snuggle bunny... or a snuggle anything at this point.

Amber I was thinking of you yesterday because I was in the kitchen at work getting coffee and a coworker was there and he said, "So, you're getting coffee?" I know how much you love when someone states the obvious.
I have a coworker like that... he says things like "So, you're eating lunch?" Cracks me up.

Aww, I know the feeling. Hang in there. Consider getting a pet because they are so wonderful in so many ways.

Things have been weird with him for a long time and he finally seems to be snapping out of it so any communication is good communication.

Cold weather sometimes makes me feel like that. In fact, I had something of a snuggle fit the other night. I kind of held a sex buddy hostage for a half hour after the....um...point of the visit....because I enjoyed the warm body in my bed. It alarmed me.

It alarmed you? Hehe! I could snuggle all day... after a night of hot sex!

It totally alarmed me. It smacked of emotional involvement, and I really would like to avoid that. Which is not to say that I haven't medaled in the snugolympics before...

yes, I would have killed him.
I was just popping my popcorn at the store on the corner (I don't have a microwave) and I'm standing there, and the cashier guys' friend comes in back where I am and is all - "mmm, popcorn" and generally making other comments and noises about nothing. I'm like "You can stop, because I'm not going to answer you, or look at you. " (no, I didn't say that but you see what I mean.)

I find this heartbreaking. I don't have pleasant memories of the lunchroom in elementary school. It is so easy to be passed over if you are a quiet kid.

It sounds like your day ended well, which is nice. I feel like a chump for throwing in so many anecdotes instead of kindly asking how you were doing, as others did. Computer work has caused me to lose some of my social graces.

even though I stay up sometimes for almost 36 hours due to pain...

Maybe people are just scared of my average fast reply to their "You look tired" (Which would be "Of course I am tired...I looked at your face and now when I try to sleep I have the same nightmare that you are chasing me with your oversized grapefruit on a toothpick head of yours.")

On the subject of miserableness (I'd join in but I'm afraid I don't know how to stop, bleeergh),
Suze, did you ever get that special lamp against winter depression? I'm curious what you think of it, if it works for you

Ugh, some people just have no tact. My co-workers often say that to me, and I just tell them I'm fine, even though I'm tempted to say "well I am tired, of working with morons like you ".

Oh no, that isn't necessary but thank you very much. Yes I was a very quiet kid.

This is sad. I told a trainer at this gym I used to go to that I had a new kitten. She said she's never going to get another cat because she can't stand to lose them anymore. I thought that was so sad. I've never had a pet long enough for them to pass but I know it will be devastating. I just hope that it doesn't make me feel like I can't ever have another.

I'm not that frightening. Although I have been told I can give one hell of a cold stare.

I haven't gotten it yet but it is likely that I will. It is the price that is an issue but I suppose feeling good is worth the cost. When I get it I will let you know how well it works. I hope that it helps.

Why don't you just pop it on the stove?
