Portia looks great these days! I've been watching Arrested Development and she's no rail. I suspect she rediscovered carbohydrates, thankfully.

STEVE HOLT!!

My favorite scene so far was in "Top Banana" when G.O.B. tries to throw the insurance check into the ocean. Ron Howard's narration during that scene made it even more hilarious.

I almost pee myself EVERY time I watch that scene. I love Gob.

DEAD DOVE. DO NOT EAT. (I don't know what I was expecting.)

ETA: I see you've got my old Gob icon with the key as your new avatar. I love it.

He's my favorite. Every time he's onscreen, I lose it. "Glasses off. No, glasses on. Hair down. No, hair up. Glasses on, hair down."

Yes she does, I watched a few episodes of that this season. Too bad it got cancelled, effers.

My favorite scene from last night was when they had to call McDreamy in for a consult on Meredith's one-nighter, and McDreamy asked one-nighter when was the last time he ejaculated, and one-nighter turned to Meredith and asked her if she knew what time that was! The look on McDreamy's face!

I also love the Christina/Burke relationship. I didn't think he was going to stick around when he saw her apartment.

Alex is an ass! I hope Izzy doesn't give him any more chances.

Shower scene... wet Dempsey again... sigh! They need to make wet Dempsey a weekly thing.

Popcorn Shrimp.... WITH SPICY CLUB SAUCE)(!*@!

STOP IT, YOU'RE MAKING ME DIZZY!

OK, on topic: Grey's Anatomy was HOT last night. When Izzy grabbed George by the shirt and was like I NEED SEX. I about died. George is precious. I'm glad he's getting over Meredith. She is really emo and lame and completely gets on my nerves. I think I need to go back and watch Season 1, maybe I'll appreciate her more. I just don't get the dynamics of the Merf/McDreamy relationship because I never really saw them together except for the pilot.

And I'm starting to get over my ickiness with Katherine Heigl thing. Hated her in Roswell. HATE. But when she walked in on Alex and that UGLY SKANK NURSE (ahem!) last night, I really wanted her to go in there and kick his ass. Le sigh.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of obnoxious, too. I have **** eyesight, so I could really only see through one half of the glasses. Good episode, though.

I absolutely hate this show. My hubby watches this program and he hates soap opera's. So I am shocked he watches this dribble. The women (except the black female doctor) all have Jello brains. The men are not much better. I feel like I am watching a show written by a bunch of 12 year old kids just finding out about the opposite sex Dr. McDreamy What's next? We will see those women interns attending a NKOTB concert to relive their youth Terrible show.

Well, Bailey made up the name McDreamy and you like her. Remember that these people are interns and so are playing 25-26ish, a time where people tend to make lots of mistakes/experiments with dating, sex, etc. Plus you're married and perhaps have forgotten the drama that surrounds being single.

I just saw this.
considering your posts, I am suprised about this opinion.
You know, because I thought you'd like the show?

I think the black female doctor has just as much a "jello brain" as any of the rest, if not more. Just cause she's meaner, doesn't mean she's smarter.
According to my watch, all the girls have been pretty darn medically knowledgeable since the beginning of the show. And everyone has been "wise" at some point.
Yes, it's a bit more sophomoric then the real doctor's life would be.
Of course everything has to be more dramatic and sexy. That's how TV is.
This show, so far, definitely has okay writing and pretty darn good acting. I guess we'll see how it holds up, and it's not...uh...George Bernard Shaw? or anything....Although it might have a smidge of Edward Albee, and a bare touch of Tennessee Williams...which ain't half bad. To hyperbolize.
