This happens all the time, its just not caught on tape. I thought the police were suppose to make us feel safe. More and more I grow more fearful of the police.

Damn, but I've gotta do some work right now! Thanks for the tip.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

"Going gray is like ejaculation. You know it can happen prematurely, but when it actually does, it's a total shock."

"I know this is the point where I'm supposed to say that it was nice just to be able to raise money for charity, and while that is certainly true, it was also great to win. Shallow, I know, but there it is. Coming down off the "Jeopardy!" high is hard. For days afterward I'd find myself telling random strangers I'd won "Jeopardy!" "Why don't you print it on your business card?" one friend joked, but the truth is I'd already considered it."

and

"Doctors will tell you that nibbling nails is a sign of anxiety and insecurity, a nasty habit that can lead to infection. I'm sure they're right. There are certainly plenty of less painful ways to deal with stress, but really, how many times a day can you masturbate?"

I especially identified with the nail-biting article because I bite my nails incessantly. It's a disgusting habit, but I can't help it.

He's too much! That is one habit I don't have but my nails are too hard. I couldn't bite them if I wanted to. I would never peg you as a nail biter though because you are so concerned with cleanliness. No wonder you won't shake anyone's hands!

Oprah really was a fan. She really said he did "the best reporting ever" which might be laying it on a bit thick. Although I wouldn't mind laying something thick on... oh nevermind.

I am a huge nail-biter. I've tried to stop and I can't. I'm incapable of stopping.

Oprah is such a kiss-ass. Her show only exists for her to kiss the asses of her celebrity friends at this point. Though I wasn't really disagreeing with her about Andy.

I know that wasn't directly related to the above but I thought I would share.
FYI, he's going to be on "Oprah After the Show" this weekend. I've never watched it before, but it's on Oxygen Sunday at 2pm. I don't know if I can stand another half hour of that broad, though.

I <3 Oprah! I agree she is sickening with the celebrities though, everyone is fabulous just because they're famous.

You can also usually see the after the show clips on her Website. I don't get Oxygen. I bet you money you can and will stand her to get a glimpse of your hottie.

I loved her way back when, in the days when she did quality shows. Ever since she was sued over that meat, it's all been downhill.

She does pick some darn good books, though.

Who am I kidding? I already have the timer on my VCR ready to record, sweets.

You're right, though, I just found a clip: http://www2.oprah.com/tows/after/tow..._landing.jhtml

He looks so phuckable in it.

Some of her topics are good but she does do a lot of fluff like makeover shows and such.

Her latest book pick looks really interesting. I have read lots of her picks but not for a while, not since she resurrected the club. But the current one is about pulling out of addiction. Are you reading it?

Right now I'm reading Anne Rice's "The Witching Hour" as an homage to NOLA. I love that book but I only read it once about 15 years ago. So long ago that it is just about like reading it for the first time! The years do disappear.

:sigh: You've become so predictable. Just in this one area! I won't be able to see the clip since I am on dial up and will claw my eyes out before the thing loads - if it ever does.

Is it "A Million Little Pieces"? I picked that one up last week and will probably start it this weekend. I've heard that it's really good. When her book club first started, she chose a book called "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb that was fantastic. Did you ever read it? What a great book. I also loved the Jane Hamilton books she chose ("A Map of the World" and "The Book of Ruth"). She's had some duds, though; I loathed "Drowning Ruth." What a turkey.

I think I've read half of it. My grandmother was a big Anne Rice fan (along with Stephen King), so I've read a few of her books, but never finished that one for some reason. I remember it being absolutely huge. Like, doorstop huge.

Yes, that is the book. I guess it is supposed to be really moving. Let me know how it is.

Yes! I've "A Map..." and "She's...". I really liked She's Come Undone a lot. That was a great read and realistic although heart warming at once. I really identified with that character since I was such a misfit as a kid! Plus a romantic pining for the unattainable.

Map of the World was so freaking depressing I barely made it through it.

It is huge, it is like Stephen King's "The Stand" huge, about a thousand pages. I'm halfway through. I was glad to have it while stuck in FL waiting for Logan to get their radar problem fixed.

"She's Come Undone" was so freaking good, I think I read it in two days. Dolores and her Mallomar's had me in stitches one minute and repulsed the next. Brilliant. It'll be a classic.

Oh, but it was so gorgeous to read. She's a truly gifted writer. Definitely depressing as all get out, but Hamilton's writing is poetic. Did you see the movie? I twasn't as good as I thought it could have been, but Sigourney Weaver and Julianne Moore were GREAT in it.

I read "It" and came to the conclusion that King was a verbose hack after I finished it. He needs a good editor so badly that I spit in anger whenever I read anything by him. But he can write good fluff on occasion. Loved "The Tommyknockers," "Rose Madder," and "Dolores Claiborne." I think that's all I liked, though.

Because I hotlinked? I can't see what it says because the pic already loaded and saved itself on my temporary internet files. What does it say?
