Comparing Stevie to Madonna is comparing chalk and cheese. They are 2 completely different performers. Not only different ages, but different philosophies about entertainment and the music industry. Stevie had her own element of "shock value" in her early days. As quoted by Mick, her "Rhiannon in those days was like an exorcism." So she very much was out for attention. She just wore her bustier and garters on the INSIDE.

You really can't compare the two (well, perhaps a brief moment in 1983 you could), but i was responding to the "well if Madonna can do it, then why not Stevie" comment in an earlier post...

Even if she played Love Is...,Alice or whatever other delusional request these people have they would still find something to piss and moan about.

Even though I would love to see Alice I am happy that she is still performing and I enjoy watching her sing even if its a song ive heard a million times.
