i didnt think i would like this based on the family-bit promos (all they showed were the little ones crying!)...but, after watching last night, i think this will be worth watching. so far i like the weavers...the fams with the adorable little girl and boy (dont know thier name)...and the black family ( )

i wouldnt be surprised if the father of the paulo brats is half insane...altho with a mother like that who wouldnt be a brat! the guy has to be on meds...he was too calm

I'm kind of sad for the Black family (Mark actually said to me "that's not cool" so I had to explain that Black is actually their last name. Doof.) but they were not very competitive, so that's the way it goes.

Those little Paolo bastards? They should be ashamed of themselves for talking to their parents that way (esp. mom.) I hope they're totally embarassed when they see themselves on TV. Esp. that smug jerky one who was like "yeah, my dad came here from Italy & tells us he didn't have all these things when he was little. Well, sorry. What am I supposed to do?" Don't be so ungrateful for starters, ass! OMG, I feel like I'm 70 years old...

Love the Lintz fam, love the 2 kids fam, love the sons-in-law fam & the widow w/kids fam. (I screamed when the buggy ran her over - how awful for them after losing their dad!) The rest? Eh. Whatever. Suprisingly, I don't hate that 17 year old 'daddy's girl" but her dad's a jerk.

Daddy Rogers is an ass, but I was still rooting for the Rogers because it wasn't worth it to sacrifice the rest of the family as well. Contrariwise, the Paolos have like one likable person and three unlikable people. Would rather have seen them go.

OMG - that guy looks like a thinner version of this similarly somber looking guy and his family at the pool at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach who, during the media reports of how horribly the battle in Fallujah was going, all of a sudden and from just over his Pina Colada complete with umbrella, shrieks "Fallujah? - that sounds like someone saying "Fallujah - girl - you need a price check!"

Needless to say, I needed another Marg. after that

I'm glad the fam who came in last is gone. I thought the dad was really demeaning to his son (not just this week's ep.) So buh-buy, good riddance.

I don't see how the Paolo's can last much longer with their constant bitching. They're pretty funny to watch, though.

Very happy the widow & kids came in first & won the trip.

I missed this week's episode - thought I'd had the DVR set to record every week, but didn't....I'm heading to CBS right now for a recap....

In other news, I placed 7th out of over 500 players in my Survivor fantasy game...and placed first in my league.

Another great episode.

Still hate the Paolos, except the dad.

Still love the Gaghan family - and how they smoked the competition in the mud challenge. Does anyone else notice Gaghan mom's slight resemblance to Stevie?

Still love the Linz family.

*spoiler for you DVR-ers, Tivo-ers and tapers*

Sad to see the Aiellos lose - I liked them too. Such nice boys, very respectful toward their father-in-law.

Buh-by! (spoilers below)

Shroeders! The dad/daughter combo was...a little weird. It was like he was more into her than his wife. The Paolo's? Cracked me up when they came in 2nd. And I don't get why everyone hates the Weavers.

Maybe because Mom Weaver thought Lake Pontchartrain was one of the Great Lakes.

Have you noticed some of the other teams referring to them as Team White Trash? That's a bit harsh, but it still makes me giggle.

Last night may have been the single worst episode of the Amazing Race ever. Going to a gas station? Going to a trailer home park? Are any of these things amazing in the least?
