I've had a couple of friends that have tried to talk me into being more moderate but I can't help it my heart has always been on the left..BTW they pretty much shut up when they finally realized I had been right about the Iraq war from the start .

I read it, and I agree with ya about the problems of the population explosion here. In my own town, which was primarily a quiet, farmland encompassed place, they are building houses on every possible open field and space. There are SO MANY friggin people now, it gets on my last nerve.

Which is one of those instances where you wish you weren't right.

I got in a big fight with my roommate over that, she was saying we needed a "foothold" in the middle east. Obviously she has no idea what she was talking about. I literally pushed her out of my face, just a sweep of my right arm, she's light. She shut up. I couldn't take it. We can't talk politics or else one of us is going to get hurt.

I'm very left but I do take other views into consideration even though it leads to uncontrollable vomitting afterward.

I voted "I'd rather hug a tree than a republican" which is literally not true (some of my best friends are republicans) but it gets the point across.
