makes more sense than "a s*** of a lot of money". As I said above. You asked. If you want to make sure, you can watch it. And if I'm wrong, I apologize.

I didn't hear any bleeping, as that is one of the two DVD's I own....

I think it's an even stranger way to use "s***". The censored version? on DVD? or did you record it from the TV?

Amber's right - it's the latter phrase. And I've heard that used before. Nowadays, you can insert that word anywhere in any configuration and it will still fit, becuase it has been rendered almost meaningless by indiscriminate usage.

I agree somewhat. I don't like to see it in the thread headers. Because if an adult is sitting with a 7 year old on her lap, she won't want to have to answer the burning question "Mommy, what's a "f*ck*?" Making people type out three out of four letters in a curse word seems rather silly. You can tell what it is and I think even PG-13 films now say the "eff" word aloud. How old do people have to be to post here?

But really---Why not make it easier for all concerned and just turn on the board's profanity filter. It's got to have one.

I think there is one because I tried to just say **** in a post the other day and when I read my post, it just had ****.
