stations are HD (I have my local PBS station OETA on 2 separate channels on digital satellite...I am gonna record the show using the one that looks the sharpest/clearest...Hell one of em might actually be HD), But what do I care.

As soon as it is recorded (Via DVD-R) the audio is getting extracted to CDR....And I have a couple of trades to mail in the next couple days so I may toss copies in there since the traders I am mailing discs to post shows on DIME.

There may be hope yet for Pittsburgh-area Ledgies.
WQED.org is still listing a concert by the PovertyNeck Hillbillies (apparently they're an up & coming country band from Pittsburgh) at Midnight this Saturday night, but Yahoo's TV listings show Lindsey's Soundstage for that timeslot.

WQED has the exact same PovertyNeck Hillbillies concert listed for that timeslot the following Saturday, too.

So I'm hoping that the Yahoo listings (which are more up-to-date) are correct, as I can't imagine WQED playing the same thing two weekends in a row.

As a sidenote, my cousin from Oklahoma called me tonight to wish me a happy birthday, since she didn't get a chance to call me last night, and while we were talking, her husband was flipping channels and found Lindsey's Soundstage.
She said, "Brian, you know I love you, but I have to go watch Lindsey now."

Well, that hope is dashed. WQED is playing that stinkin' PovertyNeck Hillbillies concert and documentary again (what the hell is a "povertyneck" anyway?!?).

Not only is it annoying because they're playing them instead of Lindsey, but they're playing them for the THIRD day in a row (twice last night)!

Eight hours worth of the programming schedule altogether.

I checked their listings, and they have the concert and documentary scheduled for another eight hours worth of programming over the course of this coming week, too.

Now I'm all kinds of grumpy.

Thumbs down

I woke up at 4:30 am to catch the 5am showing of Lindsey's soundstage. Well needless to say, I fell back asleep and woke up at 5:40. I just caught "Say Goodbye", "Murrow Turning Over in His Grave" and "Go Your Own Way." I was very disappointed in the last two. The guitar solo in Murrow is the EXACT copy of "I'm So Afraid" except in a different key. As for GYOW...he played it in a lower key and even the solo was in a different key. It was weird.

I got it recorded on my dvd-recorder. Now I'd like to put the audio on my PDA. Any ideas on how one does that?

First you need a stereo RCA to 1/4' mini jack. I am presuming your audio outputs on your DVD recorder are RCA (the red and white) and the input on your PDA is the 1/4" or 1/8" inputs similar to headphone jack.

As far as what to do after that, I dont know. You know the software of your PDA better than us.

That's what I was afraid of--I was hoping for a software solution. Oh well, it'll be worth it. Thanks
