One set of doors was the color of honey
One set of doors was pink and grey
Well I wonder which set is mine, said she
As she walked down the long hallway
Well I wonder which set of rooms are mine
For in these rooms she would live and die

I've been singing that for ages whenever that stupid song comes on when I'm playing Behind the Mask.

Favorite song Stevie didn't write, but isn't a cover: Seven Wonders. That was the easiest answer ever.

Honorable mention to: Talk To Me

Seven Wonders, though I like most of the others, too.

It does have a good vocal.

This and Alice are probably my least favorite Stevie releases ever. JMO.

Sesly, I like it quite a bit.
Add a third. It's by no means anywhere near a favorite, and I think some of the lyrics are goofy and sound particularly cliche when Stevie sings them: "I've run through rainbows and castles of candy" , and I think the middle eight is quite anti-climatic, but her vocal is outstanding and she sings the lines that seem to really hit home with a lot of passion. Yes, the music sounds dated and it sucks what her record company "forced" her to do, but it's far from putrid IMO.

I was going to say Cry Wolf as my fave unwritten song (yes, I LOVE it!).

But as I thought about it, it became too difficult to decide. Seven Wonders, Some Become Strangers, Stop Draggin', I Will Run To You, and even Unconditional Love became contenders!

I was starting to think I was the only one who likes it. And I'm no TOSOTM fanatic.

I love this line from Cry Wolf...

Find yourself somebody new, to catch you when you fall. Because I've got just one thing to say to you and baby that's all.

I love the whole OSOTM album if you didn't already know.

Yay!

I particularly love all of the changes and expression in her voice on "If you start to stumble / If you start to crack / If you're feeling humble / Ooooh don't look back".

LOVE - IT!!!

(...As well as the entire OSOTM album. Sometimes, when I actually fool myself into thinking I could pick a favorite, I would pick this one. Love the tour too!)

I think her voice is sometimes flat or strained on parts of the album, but it's very expressive in this song.
