I just searched my computer for pics/videos with the Stand Back cape and you are right, it was silver. Sometimes they look white in the bright lights but
I just viewed a clip I had from SYW in Cleveland and it was silver dots on the cape.

All of the ones I've seen (Original 81, FM 87, SYW 2003/4) have been Silver. I couldn't see very well in Mansfield nor do I remember but I do remember trying to see if she was wearing it, but I'm gonna guess it probably was Silver. Perhaps it's Gold by the lighting?

EDIT: It does appear gold by the lighting. Look at the mic & cymbal stands to her right. The light it's reflecting is a yellow/goldish color.

I'm going with gold as far as the color of the dots on her Stand Back shawl. It's always looked gold to me, especially on the fringe which looks like a combination of gold and black threads. When she changed the shawl for the SYW tour, it was just smaller gold dots with a solid black fringe.

She said in ALL ACCESS that the original was out of commission because of the shape that it was in.

Johnny Starbuck was Stevie's bodyguard in the early eighties. I always wondered what happened to him because for many years he was by Stevie's side everywhere she went. Then he was just gone. I have no idea who Bill is. I do know that there has been lots of monkey business going on with excessive downloading to crash sites on a few of the big Mac sites. Which is so lame!
