Many years ago, I worked in a store with a horrid boss who was icy & scary like Faye in that movie. A co-worker quit, but not before giving every person of the staff a hardback copy of Mommie Dearest and a wire hanger. When other people offered to quit in support of him, he said, "No, she'll kill me. Go back and strap yourself in."

I'd rather you go bald to school than looking like a tramp!

I can't believe I remember this crap.
"I'm not mad at you, Helga. I'm mad at the dirt."
Whenever that boss would scold somebody and then exit, somebody would say that.

True, Robert Beltran played on Voyager, and I was such a fan

Anyone seen the other Paul Bartel with Woronov and Beltran and loads of others .. movie: Scenes from a class struggle in LA? Just as hilarious

Stay Puft???

He was too cute to really be a villain. I felt bad when they blew him up.

Rebecca DeMornay in Hand That Rocks The Cradle

"Grandmother" in Flowers in the Attic (even if it butchered the book)

Audrey II in Little Shop Of Horrors

Minnie and Roman Castevet in Rosemary's Baby

Joan Crawford in Queen Bee

Evelyn (Jessica Walter) in Play Misty For Me

and yes, Faye as Joan in Mommie Dearest (...even though the real villain in that situation was Christina )

Googling revealed her name to be 'Madame Medusa' - that rings a bell now. She hooned around in a big red cadillac, carried a shotgun, and kidnapped children! Bloody freaky at that age!

Good pick by Jake on the murderous uncle from the Lion King (voiced by Jeremy Irons, I think). Alan Rickman's Sherrif of Nottingham was equally evil.

But it seems that the older I get, the less impressed I am with 'villains' ... people 's just aren't black and white anymore. It's like Christine's song.. "Villains are Hard to Find"!
I Loved Madame Medusa!!! Best Disney movie ever!

Amen! Remake it and stay faithful to the bloody book, dammit! I'd pay cash money to see it on opening night! Make Petals On the Wind while you're at it, too.

Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman was pretty good. Certainly better then Halle Berry...

Halle Berry was atrocious, just like that whoreanus costume. Pfeiffer blows he rout of the water when it comes to sex appeal, too. Gawd, she was smoking.
