Ooops - anyway - Insider has made me cry. I love everything about it - their voices together, the music, the lyrics.
Paula - I LOVE the picture in your sig!!

That programme also has footage of Tom teaching Stevie how to sing Stop Draggin' My Heart Around in the studio, which is very cool too.
God, I would kill to see that. As well as the INsider live video...

ANYTHING is better than Waddy Watchell singing Tom's part on SDMHA. You think someone would have put a stop to that after all these years...

You, too! But, I think everyone likes that song quite a bit. Except, I know Diss thinks Needles and Pins in that same live performance is better. So, maybe not everyone, but....
I know, I kept making my friends, aquaintances, and parents listen to it. "But you HAVE to hear this harmony, it's so strange, and so beautiful!!!" I would say....of course, no one else quite saw the otherworldly brilliance of it that I did, but, I got a few ok responses...

Catinthedark - I love paula's sig, too, isn't it great!!!?

I agree!! Amber, you gotta move northeast... I am EXACTLY like that with Insider. "You have to hear this... listen... hold on... listen for the harmonies... it's coming... the word right.... HERE!!"

Sigh. Isn't it beautiful?

Awww so everybody really does love it! It's so cool to meet people who are affected the same way that I am by these songs. I don't know anyone in real life who gives a darn which is why I love the Ledge!

The clip isn't that long, but it just shows Stevie singing a part and then Tom stopping her and saying no, do it more like this...
Still cool to see.

I wish I could make copies for you both, but it's the PAL video problem thing again. I wish I knew how to record it to DVD

I've also got a great Stevie interview from 1989 from UK's Sky News, that I've NEVER seen on any trade list anywhere, on video. I bet I could get some good trades with that but alas I know nothing about technology.

Try to find the cassette of Pack Up the Plantation, Live!, though, because the CD cuts songs out.

I don't think Tom and Stevie performed it more than a few times. I'd love to see them performing I Will Run To You live as well.
Ah, all this footage we'll never see
