You think she'll do Chronicle? Yeah, I barted out there for SYW - Not bad, except for being all lonely on the shuttle bus afterwards... I like the Pavilion, though. It's usually nice and warm there.

In O.C. I bet she'd play at Verizon Wirless Amp (Irvine Meadows), and in San Diego I'd bet Coors Amp., but I'd LOVE her to do a date at our new House of Blues here in downtown San Diego!! That would ROCK!!

How about you wait and see? I have a close friend who has invested in Stevie/Mac tours for years..he is investing in this summer gig. There are contractual reasons she cannot visit Cali...to do with Mr. Don and the Eagles. I have a feeling the people involved with putting up some of the money for this tour and the promotors know a bit more about it than Brett.

PS...I will ask them if anything changes. As of yesterday morning when I talked to his wife..the dates were still being organized and she was going as far West as Phoenix. It sucks but it is something to do with the Eagles and Don and Stevie's Two Voices tour. I am quite sure Brett assumes they are doing Cali...most peope would.

^ well that would suck if that's true..

I think it would be the first time ever that she skipped california altogether. That would be weird.

You couldn't have been lonely; I was there!

I hate all sheds and don't care for the casual crowd they attract. If she isn't going to play a club or theater, then I'd rather she play a cut-up HP Pavilion.

But I think Kelly has the skinny on this one. Just one more reason for me to hate the "industry."

people, do not stress..
of course she's going to play on the west coast... she loves it there, especially the San Jose area.... there is a huge market there for her as well, so it would make zero sense for her not to play there on the "Gold Dust Tour"... she'll go there.. probably late July/ early August... then she'll come back to the east coast and wrap things up..

Assuming i'm correct, he's investing in the Eagles as well, yes? If this is the case, of course he'd afraid that the overlapping tours would take away from audiences. That would mean taking a loss for one, the other, or both even. Who knows what the outcome will be but he's not the only person that has said as such (the no Cali dates). Looks like another waiting game. Thanks, Don.

*feels like punching Don Henley in the nose if Stevie doesn't come to Cali and it is because of him* (and I'm not a violent person)

Exclamation I'm most patient...

so I will wait to see if a Dallas and/or OKC date appears on schedule before making plans....Otherwise Red Rocks sounds very tempting (Havent been to Colorado since 1984).

*sob*
Why? Oh, Why do we have to have the Eagles instead? It's not fair! It's not right! Now, now I hate them.

Not that I doubt your information, but that doesn't sound logical. Stevie isn't coming to the west coast with Don anyway, so how would her solo ticket sales here interfere with that or with the completely separate enterprise of the Eagles? Did I misunderstand? Contracts can be rather illogical, so I guess anything's possible... that just seems strange to me.

Brett was not the only one who talked about CA dates as if they had been discussed and were in the works so perhaps it's on the table. While I agree that the organizers would know more, these guys commit to tour and negotiate their salaries based on how many dates there are, so I imagine they are kept fairly in the loop as to what the plan is. I wouldn't panic over the lack of dates yet... as Kelly said, the best thing to do with anything Stevie/Mac is to wait & see.
