Time Bandits, I think, but it's been ages since I've seen it.

My daughter is four too, and GAWD I know what you mean! Thank God there are things that I like too, except it's really funny when I end up arguing with her because she wants to watch the insipid Care Bear movie for the millionth time and I'm saying, "C'mon, mommy would rather watch Finding Nemo!"

ANYWAY...

Labrynth...TOTALLY...Bowie makes the movie!
The Iron Giant...not sure if it's really a kid movie, but my daughter likes it too. The animation is killer!
Willy Wonka
Charlottes Web
Most of the Disney flicks, except Aladdin. The Genie's just too out there for my tastes

I also have the entire Muppet Show series AND (for those of you old enough to remember it) Riki Tiki Tavi! You know the mongoose and the cobra! LOVE THIS, cheesy 1970's soudtrack and all!

I also enjoy quite a bit of what's on Cartoon Network these days. Give me Edd, Ed, and Eddie, the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (who knew the Grim Reaper was Jamacian?), Courage the Cowardly Dog, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Static Shock, The Batman, Teen Titans, and The Justice League over 90 percent of the prime time programming anyday!

Bad News Bears
The Dark Crystal
The Karate Kid (like Amber, mentioning movies I loves as a kid, though not sure it's a "kid's movie")

The Julie Andrews one is out on DVD...I saw an ad for it in a magazine...Entertainment I think.....It caught my eye because I was SO bummed out about missing it on our PBS station.....so I was like, "yea! I can buy the DVD..."

I just think the whole tone of the movie is child-like and fun. Very 13 years old.

Adding my props to The Purple People Eater and Bejeweled with Emma Thompson....both used to be on The Disney Channel all the time. I can't find Bejeweled anywhere! Anyone have it taped? It's one of my favorite movies ever! I. miss. it.

Never heard of that one

But for some reason that reminded me of another one of my favorites:

Something Wicked This Way Comes....

OMG, you are the only person in the world other than myself who knows of and loves those movies.

It's actually Emma Samms, though. I had it on tape years ago, but not anymore. Such a great movie.

I frickin' loved Unico!! Loved Neverending Story too! I had 6 hour cartoon tapes as a kid and I loved movies too. These days, I don't see magic in movies anymore. There are way too many to list that I loved as a kid. Lots of those being listed: Muppet Movies, Secret of NIMH (my favorite and I have the soundtrack), Robin Hood (Disney version) and OMG, yes, Clue too. I've seen it dozens of times. Love it! Have seen Wizard of Oz millions of times too.

One movie I do NOT understand (didn't see it until I was an adult and I didn't see the entire thing) was Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That is some freaky shiz right there. Don't care for that one.
