Yeah, they sure made a mess of that one. Carl Hiaason (sp) is funny, and like I said, she should never be in a movie that's supposed to be funny. Whoopi was funny in Ghost, but the movie wasn't supposed to be light, so that's why it all worked out. There's just something heavy/serious about her presence. I noticed in Charlie's Angel's - the other girl's acting made the movie's tone sort of light and fun, but when Demi came on, the whole vibe changed. Yes, I know she was supposed to be evil, but still her vibe was discordant with the rest of the movie, somehow.

Don't forget flat-chested! Yeah, that movie is hilarious. Bobcat is in it, that scene where he is stuck in the Godzilla suit!

I guess so. I just think she's really, really pretty. So then, when i'm looking at her, I like her. Like a gorgeous painting? only, it's a person!

I believe she is actually pretty calculating in real life, though, If not cold - I really couldn't say. But she did pick some crappy, crappy movies. And she should never, ever, try to be comedic. EVER!!!!
That reminds me...one role I did like her in was in that movie where she plays a woman who helps her friend (played by Glenn Headley) kill her husband. I think it's called Mortal Thoughts? Not sure...anyway it's one of my guilty pleasure movies. Those two trying to pull of some semblence of a Jersey accent just slays me.

Good movie!

Am I the only one who has the major hots for Glenn Headley? That voice and that red hair and the perfect skin and the gorgeous lips and she's so tall. Ooh.

Gah this is just so disturbing.

Ashton Kutcher is quite possibly one of my most unfavorite people on this planet. What a douche.

The world does not need an offspring of those two. I mean, this one'll probably end up an actor, and I will promptly slit my wrists. -_-

Ashton Kutcher is the sole reason contraceptives should be made available to teenagers in sex ed class. To prevent little accidents like him.

Now and Then (chain-smoking downer)
Charlie's Angels (hit woman)
Indecent Proposal (tramp )
Scarlet Letter (adulterer and masturbation with a candle...)

You just want to shake her and ask her why she killed her career!
I liked her in Deconstructing Henry.

Because Deconstructing Harry was fabulous.

No one compares to the great and, in my eyes, legendary Judy Davis, though. I would watch her sleep and be endlessly fascinated. One of the best actresses to ever work. I still remember when I first saw her in Husbands and Wives, I was struck dumb; I had never seen such shocking intensity. She borders on being so brilliant and astonishing that sometimes I can't even watch her because I get so overwhelmed. Her opening scene in Deocnstructing Harry certainly did that to me.

I love that movie for some reason. Probably b/c of Whoopi.

She has a Broadway special airing on April 9th on HBO. Looks hilarious and if it's anything like the show I saw in September, it's a keeper!!!!
