Ok, three infractions from Ms. Nicks:
1. Old Black Dress, version 1.0

2. Bad hair.....It just doesn't look right on her

At the risk of sounding overly rude, she looks like one of the drag queens that attend the annual Night of a Thousand Stevies, rather than the genuine article.

I have an idea. Why don't all of the people who piss and moan about Stevie's appearance at certain times take the worst photo of themsleves they can find, like when they've been in the hospital, or they're extremely hung over, or they've just found out that their spouse has been cheating on them and they've been up all night crying and post it for the entire world to see? Why don't we all take the worst pictures we've ever taken--hmmm...let's say when we've had a cold, or have zits, or have gained a few pounds, or have chosen some god-awful outfit to wear, and put them on the net for all of us to make fun of?
What a blast that would be!

And, for every picture of Stevie you've messed with--I think there should now be an equal amount for EACH and every member of FM.

If you're going for the sport of it all, go for it. Some will say Stevie fans are touchy when Ms. Nicks is messed with? Let's see if everyone is less touchy when their favorite FM person is subject to ridicule for not looking fabulous 24 hours a day over the course of their entire lives.

As much as I adore LB (and think he's damn sexy), if people started in on his pics I'd be right there with them! And if pics of me at my worst were posted and made fun of, I'd be right there making fun of those too!

When it comes to ridicule, I believe in equal opportunity.

You know, even when it's a supposed "bad" pic, I still think Stevie is an attractive lady. And both her and Lindsey look awesome for their ages. But I'm also a totally new fan and most of you were probably right there with them during all the bad periods so you'd know better than me.

Heck.. I have some god awful pictures of myself (though I avoid cameras mostly) and I certainly wouldn't want them splashed all over the net! Poor Stevie... and anyone in the public eye for that matter. People seem to take great pleasure over finding a less than flattering picture of them

stevie639.jpg (#2) is a great Rock a Little photo. I wish I had a whole photo album of photos from that point.

I also love all the photos of her crimped hair from 1994, publicity & tour.

A thread like this obviously irritates some fans, who find it invasive & cruel.

Personally, I love talking about bad photos as well as good ones simply because I love talking about Fleetwood Mac. So I'm all for people posting photos of Stevie or Mick or whomever with excess fat or zits or droopy eyelids, or standing shining, resplendent in their glory on a stage somewhere.

What I'm about to say will be unpopular. But, whenever I see photos of Stevie from 1989 through 1993, when I hear songs like "Paper Doll" and "The Second Time," and when I see boots from the "Behind The Mask" tour, I remember why I was happy when it was announced that Stevie had quit Fleetwood Mac and Bekka Bramlett had joined. I will also say that I'm glad Stevie was able to get herself back together and become the Stevie we all knew and loved again by 1997!

I've seen the others before, must say that I like them. But the one gettyimages one with the bad toothy grin and the one where she's splayed out...those are awful.

As for the ones Jeremy posted initially, I actually like them.

Definitely not my favorites, but I have the 2nd one up in my room, the one from '93 that everyone says she's a pig in. Yep, that one's on my wall. If Stevie's like me and other women I know, she would probably want it off my wall.

Well, we did have a thread in the Chit Chat forum just for embarrassing pictures, and some were pretty funny.
