I don't like Olympia Snowe's politics, I simply have respect for her because I find her to be a rarity: honest and up front about her beliefs and her politics. She doesn't bull**** and hse doesn't pussyfoot. Democrats could take a cue from her instead of polluting their "beliefs" with polls and focus groups.

Feinstein is too much of a moderate for me. You can have her, but I don't want her. Especially considering the fact that she's helping Shrub rape and pillage the environment.

You would think The Gropenfueher's support for same sex marriage would keep him out of the R Club, too, eh?

Not quite enough for her not to be a Republocrat, though.

Nothing. A die-hard conservative Republican killed her boss and co-worker because her co-worker was gay and proud of it. You would think she would have seen what those people are all about, not help them further their causes.

I think ordinarily it would be - well that and the fact that he, as a self-described Republican Montague, married the "Juliet Capulet" of the D party

Actually, I think the R's were so desp. to attach a foot hold in Cali. that they took anything they could get. Also, by most accounts, Arnold has not been the disaster that many thought he would be

well, sure, but no. One of her greatest skills as a republocrat is reading the ins and outs and blowing winds...

I believe Trddy K. was, to put it mildly, a great supporter of that sham I suppose he is a conservative now Now - where is that pic. of W and Teddy K. gloating over the bill

Spekaing of playing fair, let's call Feinstein what she truly is: a hypocrite. She's a HUGE proponent for gun control, yet carries concealed weapons on her at all times. There was one point in time where she was the only citizen of San Francisco with a CCW permit.

You spoke incredibly highly of it and then when I called it a sham right before it was enacted, you told me I was loony and that it was fabulous because the AARP approved of it, dear.

He also voted for Iraq. I would hardly call him a conservative, but surely you would never equate Teddy with a Republican like Dianne Feinstein.

Well, she was the subject of a real threat - I mean they put a BOMB IN HER HOUSE for goodness sake

Also, and I know you know this but are attempting spin, gun control is not, much to the chagrain of the far far left, no guns at all

Well, you are a loon But, I had not read the implementation of it. On its face, the Act was not too bad

First of all, no one ever said the D party was the anti-war party - you said that Secondly, Teddy and the rest voted to give W the authorization to chose war as a last resort - interestingly, W did not need Congresses approval - see the War Powers Act I suppose Congress could refuse to fund the Pres.' solo implementation of troops, but that would be political suicide.

As to DF and TK - I think they are doin' it
