Funny 'cos I'm freezing my ass off here and could do with a bit of tropical weather!

Guess we always want what we know we can't get huh?

Yeah it's not a bad country to visit.. Not great to live here though because the taxation we are under is crippling... Very expensive place to try and live..

MFM...how cool that you got snow for Xmas( nice pics btw)..we got a dusting today (Boxing Day), nothing too major.
I got what I wanted for xmas..a chopping board (from the youngest) and a pot of NZ Manuka honey..hahhaaa..well and a bit more too, that I wasn't expecting!
A new mobile phone with pic cam and lots of buttons, which will def keep me busy on these cold nights and an "animal" (from the muppets) cushion, all pink, hairy and bushy browed (from the eldest)

I just went out and blew most of my gift cards on CD's....

Stevie - Trouble In Shangrila
U2 - Boy
U2 - Live from Slaine Castle (DVD)
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
Blondie - Blondie Live
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand (my old copy crapped out on me....a crack in the old CD was the final nail in that coffin...)

I did some shopping today.

I bought the Live Aid DVD ($30!), Frandz Ferdinand's and Velvet Revolver's albums, a lightning bolt necklace and a guitar one, eyeliner, and I'm off to Barnes and Noble soon for Blondie's Live By Request DVD, Destiny Rules and Green Day's American Idiot album.

That's awesome. I want the Blondie video. And you aren't going to want to stop watching Live Aid

I got Golden Girls Season 1on DVD
Mary Poppins -the special edition or whatever
Gone With the Wind - 4 disc DVD thing
A homemad blanket from my mom - and then she made me a scarf with the extra yarn - I definitely needed a scarf...

Mostly though I got to go home and see my friends and family and bask in the sun - and look at the stars - now, however, I'm back in the frozen tundra and just trying to stay warm

Sounds like everyone got some cool gifts. I'm jealous.

i mostly got clothes - which I did not want my parents to buy me cause, well, they always buy the ugly stuff ha. They surprised me this year though. I'll only have to take back three things for sure.
What else did I get..oh yeah:

Tons of giftcards: best buy, borders, gap, etc..
CD's: U2 - War, Jeff Buckley - Grace, Linking Park & Jay Z
Movies: Nightmare before Christmas (!), Trainspotting, High Fidelity (so disappointed I didn't get Napoleon Dynamite!)
Also I got the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe
That's about it.

Cool stash! I watch Napoleon Dynamite yesterday. it was pretty good. But I also watched Saved, which i thought was really good. hate to say it, but Mandy Moore kicked it out big time. Also, gift cards are cool..

I forgot to mention the Boston Red Sox Scrub Top that was also a gift from mom ~~I wore it to work today at the office!

I also went out Sunday and used my gift cards and $50.00 of my bonus~~the other $200.00 is in my savings account.

At J.C. Penney, I bought a pair of Levi's Jeans for $8.00 , two pairs of soft chenille house socks that were half price, a pair of toe socks with gray cats on them and a new underwear set which was also on special.

At Waldenbooks, I got James Patterson's London Bridges and a Get Fuzzy 365 page one a day calendar.

At FYE, I got the Pat Benatar DVD video collection.

At the Body Shop, I got an oil burner with orange peel oil.

I still have my Strawberries gift certificate to use.

Good choice!

There is a Fashion Commentary Bonus Feature by Joan and Melissa Rivers, but I haven't watched it yet to give feedback.

Hey Ryan!
I also got the new U2 cd. I love it!
Vertigo is one of the best songs they have put out! This album is my second fav next to the Joshua Tree.
