I think, me being an only child, they figure that now, their dog has learned more cool tricks from them then i ever will...
(to be fair, my mom is a sag, and an excellent, excellent dog trainer. Her dog can almost talk, she's so good)

Awww, cute. I loved seeing those pics of Barney. Is Bush still Republican? Because I thought some Republicans were beginning to become very wary of him. Not your 'rents? Dammit.

I am bringing Mufasa to my Dad's on Friday. Pets rule! Have a wonderful time with your family. Peace. Love. And happiness.

I.Can't.Believe. You are actually transporting a cat, to another house, in hopes that said cat will bring you comfort and be social. My guess? Hide in the corner (or under something) and be appalled that you made it ride in the car, meet strangers, and generally do anything besides what it wants to do.
Just judging from every cat i've ever known in my life. Can you say...dancing frog from the buggs bunny cartoon?
I wish you luck, though, and if your cat is stoked...you must breed him and i want a kitten.

He's already neutered but maybe I can clone him! He is very brave and he will have a ball I am sure of it. When he went up to Gramma's he was quite the social butterfly and had himself a ball. He isn't too crazy about the car but he is fairly used to it and he doesn't cry or get too too worked up. He is seriously a b*llsy cat!

Bush is so far from a Republican it is amazing. he is fiscally irresponsible and he wants and has created the largest govt. ever and has granted it the most intrusion in our private lives in the history of the U.S. JERK!

Well, they say Reagan was never really Reagan again after the shooting. That's when he gave the go ahead for Iran Contra. Of course they may just be trying to blame it on his Alzheimer's.

hmmm, interesting thought. Not as interesting as the astrological angle of the cycle, but still interesting. (JK, dear) And i wonder, how can they tell when reagan wasn't really reagan? I never thought reagan was human, let alone himself... sorry, i just think he's the biggest tool/pod president evah. Yeah, by all means, blame alzheimers if you gotta.

It was widely known, even outside of the beltway, that the Alzheimer's had kicked in by the beginning year or so of his second term. have you ever seen the outtakes - my personal fav. being "let's bomb russia" or something like that I have always thought the shooting caused perhapes pinpoint strokes that accelerated the Alzheimers in some way or at least caused him to be, if you will, duller mentally until the Alzheimer's kicked in.

Food for Thought

Apparently there came a point after the shooting where there were long pauses in his speech or he began reciting old movie scripts. If you look at his presidency, you'll see that as it progresses, the public saw less and less of him.
