I'm with Amber, diss. They'll disagree with you but some of them are nice enough to read what you're saying and think about it enough to come up with some kind of argument. I think they're just asking to be backed into a corner, and you'd be the one to do it. Still, you're cracking me up.

And I notice that Nancy has them cornered where Christianity's concerned, too. (In my opinion, me not being particularly knowledgeable about Christianity to begin with). I read the chapter about gay marriage and gay rights in general in How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) and it really pissed me off. She said that gays can visit anyone in the hospital they want--partners, next-door neighbors, and complete strangers. Talk about twisting the truth. Yeah, I could go see my girlfriend if she had her tonsils removed, but if she's in the ICU, hanging by a thread, and her family says I'm not part of their family, I'm not allowed to see her, 'cause it's family only, obviously. (Not that I have a girlfriend--this is hypothetical). But it's incredibly insensitive to manipulate that and spread lies about that subject--it's matter of life and death! What if that were her spouse dying in the hospital, and she never even got to see him! That's horrible! And that's just one example of the crap she spews!

If I didn't know better, I'd almost think Coulter is parodying ultra conservatives. She's like a charicature. I didn't know anyone took her seriously, really. Even my parents who are rabid right-wingers, don't like her.
