Cool "famous" people I've met

I've met: Morgan Fairchild, John McVie, Michael Keaton, Glenn Close, Adam West, Christopher Lee, Lindsey Buckingham, Bruce Campbell, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Sinbad, Sharon Stone, Mary J Blige, NOFX, John Lithgow, and last but not least, George Lowe (Space Ghost). I think that's it.

I have met Barbara Mandrell and her husband, Gary Morris (country music singer in the 80s), Billy Ray Cyrus, Toby Keith, and Lindsey Buckingham. I think that is it.

Susan Sarandon is the salt of the earth, a truly genuine individual. I've met her twice and she charmed me both times.

I was hoping that I'd run into her, either at the hotel or the Fleet Center, but I didn't. Always loved her, though. GREAT actress.

It was surreal. I met her again a few years later and she said she remembered it - sighs. http://www.bettybuckley.com/
My grandmother knew Betty. Said she was a wonderful person. I have a bootleg video of, don't laugh, "Carrie: The Musical" somewhere and it is a scream. She's hilarious in it.

I met him years ago around Halloween time. My friend CJ and I asked him "hey can we take a photo with you?" He said "sure." I said "hey CJ get on the other side of Bruce and we'll make a Campbell sandwich..." Bruce paused and looked at me and said "Uh..I don't think that's a good idea." We all laughed. He said that moment reminded him of the "Let's play chess" moment in Blazing Saddles.

Oh, it must be seen to be believed. It's still considered one of the biggest eggs laid on a Broadway stage. I think it closed after eight days.

My video of it is a bit blurry, but with songs about Carrie's flow and another called "And Eve Was Weak," how could it not be fabulous? The blood that gets dumped on her is like Jell-O, all clumpy and thick. Betty played her mother instead of the gym teacher and after Carrie kills her, she picks her up and walks up a HUGE flight of white stairs up to heaven.

Guess I'll put another one on the list...

I just came from a press conference where I met (and was forced to listen to) Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert....

He was here endorsing a local congressional race But he did take the time to come around and introduce himself to each member of the press...that was before they tore him apart with questions and he abruptly walked away from the podium and off to lunch...

It doesn't surprise me that you have a video of this musical. You are the gayest straight guy on earth, my dear friend.
