She Loves Him Still

Oh no...
No one heard her call his name
No one heard a sound she made
They wouldn't have liked it much anyway
To know that she still loves him

No one understands this love...
No one ever will
Till his dying day not even he himself can change this
She loves him still...

I miss my friend...
I miss the sound of his laughter
She remembers him saying...
"Well, where are you going?
Oh, just what is it that you are after?"

No one understands this man...
No one ever will
Till his dying day not even he himself can change this
She loves him still...

"So how are you?
Have you learned to deal with this?"
"Well, oh no, "she says
"No, I have not learned...
You see, I cannot deal without you..."
So the flame still burns...
The flame burns on...

No one understands this love...
No one ever will
Till his dying day
She was heard to say...
She loves him still...

And the sands of time like shattering glass go past her
She still loves him
Oh no, they wouldn't have liked it much anyway
But she still loves him
And the sands of time like shattering glass go past her
Straight back to the sea
She still loves him

There are a few studio versions of G&B out there, they just didn't get released. I'm partial to the live version though.

It is fabulous, isn't it. I only have one version. I'd appreciate it if you could post your versions so I could give them a listen to as well.

I like
Love You Enough, China Doll, and Blue Water the best. Oh, and this one specific version of Lady From the Mountain.

Oh, and I love, love, love the Gypsy(s) with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. "DO IT RIGHT, DO IT RIHITE!"

I like Forest of the Black Roses and Maker of Birds--those are haunting melodies.

I've read a lot of the lyrics to these and I'm really curious to hear them. Annabel Lee especially.

Is there any other site apart from ThrownDown? Or can someone explain it to me, please? I have never been able to make head nor tail of how to navigate that site...

When I was reading those lyrics, I thought of you, and of the friend you just lost. A lot of things were going through my mind, that I'm sure you are aware of.

Looking forward to hearing your versions Jason(Jaz).

Does anyone have Belle Fluer in excellent sound quality? Love this one, but all the versions I've found (there have been many) seem to be similiar in piss poor audio.

Also...Tied Up (In Promises) with excellent audio would be extra sweet too.

Anyone?

I have a Belle Fleur from the Street Angel Reel. Do you have that one? It's very clear.

you're gonna hate me...I was getting this confused with Dial the Number. alas, I only have one version.

Richard B - I have a demo dated 1993 that is crystal clear. I also have a demo that is 5:08 minutes long that is "ok" quality.
