Speaking of album sales, has anyone crunched numbers on how many people saw the tour? If so, how close are the total ticket and album sales? Does it stand to reason that most (or at least a good portion) of people who saw a show had the new album? |

I dont think its weighing on her mind in a negative way. this is stevies love. she has been with the mac on this tour for a long time, i think its safe to say that she is anxious to get back to work on her solo work, for the love of it , not because she is feeling pressure. the fact that she is 56 doesnt mean she cant get 2 new albums done. the record comp, isnt saying that she has to tour her but off like the tour she just finished with fm. altho we all know stevie does tour with every new album. but i think she loves to do it. i know as you get older, its may be harder to tour, her hip injury, sure, that could be a problem. but i dont see stevie stopping making records just because at some point she may not be able to tour. i think she will always write and release her music til the day she dies and if she cant do a tour, we will still get new music. but im sure she will tour as long as she feels that she can do it. to say she is feeling pressure by the record co cause of her age is like saying well once she fullfills this obligation, she will never have another record contract and we all know stevie is in this for the long haul, at any age. rock on stevie. |

Good point. ![]() If they ever go out on the road again, I'll just look at the setlist and decide if I want to spend over a hundred bucks to see Rhiannon or Big Love for the millionth time. Which I probably won't.

Would everyone please tell me where I can find an article that mentions Stevie had a hip injury? As far as I know this was just a rumour that was started about a year back when she wasn't moving around that much at the shows. Well obviously if something was wrong she is fine now. She is dancing, twirling, running around on stage, et cetera at the speed of lightning. At least on this summer tour she has been very energetic. So I think it is safe to say that she is fine now. I do have the bootleg of the very first SYW show and it was obvious she had some sort of problem because she was literally dragging her feet but doesn't she seem back to normal? Or should I expect more dancing or whatever at the shows?

I've had it with the current band. I wouldn't even bother seeing any of them on their solo tours. I'm sick of all the bland musicians they use, & all their other little sillies. |

http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/articles/FMart114.html Today, however, she's damaged her hip, and mounts the studio steps gingerly. "You become more brittle as you get old. But it's all a state of mind-I'm trying to have a young attitude. There's still nobody can dance like me," she says defiantly. I can't remember where I read that she was waiting until the tour ended to have surgery. I know I read it somewhere. |

Hey PIP, remember that panty revealing shot of Stevie doing the high kick that someone posted over on the BN board several months ago? Do you still have that picture? If so, maybe you could post it...it appears from that photo that in the very, recent past Stevie was able to kick her leg above her head. It was probably taken BEFORE she hurt her hip, but it was in the last few years.
It's mindblowing really that a 56 year old, menopausal, injured woman has less energy then she had decades ago. ...shrugs...
