Well.... this is just typical of the FM trend and how much corporate music sucks (it's not FM's fault, really).
This video is sooooooo narcoleptic!! Stevie is barely alive- I'm surprised they didn't wheel her out on a dolly before and after each of her songs. YIKES!! Her hair?!?!?!? Who's idea was that??? Unless you want to see some Vito/Burnette action, you can pretty ditch this whole thing and watch The Dance. I feel sorry for all of them with the bad clothes, the bad hair and waaaaaaay too much make-up on Vito, Burnette and Mick.... Then again, it WAS the late-80's big-hair-a-palooza. |

I think Stevie is good in this on her songs and great in Seven Wonders!!!!! I just do not like her on the other people's songs like Little Lies.

Not to offend anyone here, but I kind of think it's funny when people lock onto the clothes and the hairstyles more than anything else.
Uhm, it was sixteen years ago... and Fleetwood Mac's clothes and hair-styles were ultra-fashionable at the time. Just think how ridiculous everyone thought the '70's bell-bottoms, hip-huggers, and platform shoes, looked, by the '80s... and now people are wearing them again, and have been for several years. ![]() Anyway, it's a great concert, and highly enjoyable if you like Fleetwood Mac, and aren't seriously locked into any one lineup or another. Rick Vito and Billy Burnette were excellent additions to the band, and helped bring about a sound that married FM's '60's blues roots, with their '70s and '80's pop/rock sensibilities. Just my 2 cents. ![]()

I agree with you. The hair and all is comical to us now, but who knows...In ten years we may just go back to that
Anyways, enjoyable concert. Any Mac concert on DVD is good in my book.Shamus |

Never again will people ever wear their hair as awful as Stevie did. Never again will people wear acid-washed white jeans. Never again will they wear those hats. Never again will they wear ultra-high Candies with cut-off denim shorts. Never again will they wear jeans so tight that their bulges will be seen from a mile away. Never again will they dress so horridly. And I just don't like the video because it's annoying to watch, the music didn't sound good, and Stevie was boring. ![]()

No matter what happens, I will not wear polka dots again.

I, of course, wore a seersucker suit and white bucks, which I still wear as it is timeless Southern wear. I have, however stopped wearing the dreaded 80's pale yellow tie with small blue polka dots that everyone had!!!! Last edited by strandinthewind; 09-03-2003 at 05:57 PM.. |
