Go look up who they worship (Xenu). Or look up the Sea Org. Or Narcanon. That **** will scare the bejesus outta ya!
This is true. Some guys I know got caught up with Scientologists for a whole afternoon because they were asked to take a "test". They didn't have any plans so they said they would. They were then locked inside with these scientologists trying to "convert" them. After hours, they finally got out.

Check out rickross.com if you're interested in checking out whether a group is dangerous or not. This one is on there.

The same thing happened to me, darling.

I was taking classes about religion and theology and got wrapped up in reading about Scientology and that quack L. Ron Hubbard. I found it quite fascinating. I was in Boston for a week and got one of those flyers that the clams hand out on the steps of the "church" and couldn't pass it up. The video they show is about an hour and a half, they won't let you leave, and if you express disgust over all of it, they really throttle you. I had to go to the bathroom and they literally paused the tape and followed me around the church. Even waited for me outside the crapper. They worship pictures of L. Ron Hubbard as if he's their god, too. After the video, they force you to tell intimate details about everything from your childhood to your sex life. I went in at noon and came out at six at night.

I ended up taking classes because I was writing articles about the whole thing and the classes are the real freak shows. At the introduction, they wheel out the E-Meter.

Yep, this happened to my friends in Boston too, same thing. I am fascinated by this, can you give me a couple of paragraphs on this E-Meter? What is it?

It's like a tin-can telephone. Two tin cans hooked together by string, then attached to this electronic box. One of your fellow Scientologist hooks you up to the tin can monstrosity and looks to see if you're suppressing "negativity." If you're not, they tell you which classes you have to take over, which means more money in their pockets.

They ask you questions and depending on your answer, the box will flicker or move it's needle.

And there are no electrodes or anything, just these tin cans? How do people get sucked into this?

But what, about your body, is it measuring?

Unless it changed since I was there last, there aren't any electrodes. Look up what this "religion" has done in the last fifty years, it's a freakin' cult.
