You know that feeling when you meet someone and you skip right past the acquaintance phase and into actual friendship? I am head over heels in love with that feeling and with my new friend.

I'm really sorry to talk about it here, but i feel like The Ledge is one little place, out of the society i live in, where i won't be judged. So, that's it.

I'm really sorry you're going through this. I know there's a lot of ledgies who can relate. It's such a hard situation, but I'm really glad to hear that their drinking doesn't affect the way they treat you. It sounds like you've tried talking to your parents about it before yourself....is there any way you could talk them into family counseling?

See, this is why i don't really like complaining about all of this : there are thousands of people who live the same situation, or worse. My situation is probably not that bad. Anyway, thank you everyone, you don't know how much this was important to me. Just to feel that i'm not THAT alone. I really had no idea you (Danielle and Kimberly) were going through this too, and i thank you for caring.

If it were up to me, I would keep most of the length. I'm useless as to how you should style it though.

My hair is a dark red, almost auburn, and really long. I get a lot of compliments on the color, which is funny as I've always hated my hair color. I wasn't a redhead growing up, but blonde. As I got older, instead of it going dark like most blondes, it turned red. Kind of strange. *end of useless post*
