For once, I finally made it to work on time, and now I'm feeling like I got here too early.
I think I should leave for a little while then come back.

I'm thinking about ways to get on the guestlist at a Neko Case show.

it pours and becomes a flood...
Was on our way for Deb's bi-annual checkup at her oncologist's office in Edmond (A large suburb 12 miles North of OKC) when at 65 MPH (In the slow lane of the turnpike - the speed limit is 75MPH) a semi-truck started to speed up on us. I decided to speed up since I'm guessing 65MPH in the slow lane is too slow for Billy-John/Bob-Bubba, who apparently suffers from led-foot. Then I felt the car jerk hard, then a high pitched whining sound resonated from underneath our car - Threw a few gears out of the transmission! I immediately had a panic attack... Great - Here we are about 65 miles from home on the interstate with no turnaround exit for another 15 miles. I decided to say "F**k it", took the next exit after the toll both (Thank God/Allah/Shatner for 'pikepass') drove another 10 miles away just to be able to circle around and pray we made it home without injurying ourselves or someone else. Drove the living **** outta the car, Everytime I stopped at a stop sign/stop light I had to slowly edge the car forward so it would catch the transmission & drive. Made it all-the-way home. Parked the car, which now has no reverse gear, and now tryingn to figure out what the hell else is going to go wrong to us. We have been through enough hell since 2005, but for some reason we still keep knockin' instead of taking the easy way out (Trust me, I think about suicide alot, BUT I wont do it - I won't put my family through that ****, especially Lesa whose adopted Father shot himself in Nov.2004 - Just 2 months before she found Mom.) Oh, the wound on my hand has opened up more...So how was y'alls day?
