When he's playing it's clear to see just how into his music he is. With John, you can see that it's mostly a technical understanding and a "just get this done" thing. Whereas with Lindsey, he's evidently feeling the music.

Mind you, I get the distinct feeling that John would look that miserable if he lost a five pound note and found a cheque for a million. Bless him. He's such a miser.
