It could. What I am still trying to wrap my brain around tho is her upcoming tour. Why go out and tour for IYD a YEAR after it has been released? It isn't like it is still burning up the charts nor has she been touring for it all this time. If they don't release the doc to coincide with this tour then everyone in Stevie's camp is bat**** crazy.

I've been saying all along we're never gonna get the video(legally). Maybe it will pop up on youtube in bits and pieces eventually. Mike Bise probably has it already.

This seems the most likely outcome.

I miss his unreleased music.

I wonder how his mother is feeling these days. I hope she's better.

I so agree and it's so annoying that this is held up.
And since the thing was shot in HD, if this doc ever sees the light of day, there had better be a blu-ray version of it.

These are the same people who paid for all that filming of the Rumours tour and it never saw the light of day. Reading Ken Caillat's book recently reminded me of how much effort WB put into it, recording all the audio in highest quality to sync it up with the footage and all the behind-the-scenes stuff etc......and it's just dusty in a vault somewhere.

I forgot about the Rumours video.Plus the Australian video.I'm wondering if it got ditched like them.Since IYD did not do good.I hope it will show up.All that money lost in making it.Stevie and the gang wasted their time including us with our videos.

It's weird how people (in the business) tweeted that they saw the documentary and said how great it was. I wish they would just release it!

Daves is coming to some select theaters, isn't it?

Maybe once that run is over, Stevie's will have the same fate?

/wishful thinking

Dave said at the end of May that they were still setting up distribution (whatever that means) and that the project hadn't been shelved... It is an independent release separate from her record label - similar to what Fleetwood Mac did with Destiny Rules... So it's probably just a matter of how and when they want to release it.
