If you're near there, come up and say hello!

How to recognize me: 40-something, brown/grey hair, 5-8, rectangular eyewear, black t-shirt and jeans.
I looked for you but I stopped this guy that matched your description. And I asked are you on The Ledge and he said yes and I said what was your screen name and he said "Mookie". And I was like "Mookie" and then he walked off. I think that guy was just f'ing with me. We need t-shirts or something. It's very awkward going up to a stranger and asking if you are on the Ledge and Hi, I'm TwistedGypsy and people look at you crazy.
But this guy had on a black button down. So I guess it wasn't you.

^ I think the reason for all of the elderly is because they have season passes to the Atlanta Symphony.

It was definitely kind of bizarre. I mean, of course it's going to be mostly like middle-aged I guess, but there was a lot of, literally elderly people..

I probably saw all of you guys but had no clue who you were :/. My friend and I hung out by the buses until they drove off. Neale and Brett were so friendly and nice.

Were you in the back when we were waiting on them to come out? There were two younger girls behind me. Did you have on those shorter black boots? And speaking of Brett calling you baby, he does like the younger women as does Neale.

Ha, you're making me want to make a note to see all concerts at the Woodruff Arts Center whenever I'm in Atlanta!

I'm glad that Lindsey was having a good night for you!

No, I never went back there. We just waited for them by the buses. I was wearing jeans, a blue sweater, and I have long brown hair.

Haha, I figured. He actually approached me in the first place and asked my name and started talking to me.

That was the case in many of these venues. Season ticket holders. Nothing beats the elderly lady next to me in front row in Ridgefield, CT clutching a box of Junior Mints throughout the whole show. That was bizarre.

That was probably me and my friend. I was in a button up collared shirt, jeans, and Chucks and she was in a black dress and boots.

You are kidding -or at least I hope you are.

I'm almost 63 years old and will be front row center for two of Lindsey's SoCal shows. I find your observations about the other fans in the audience, even if said in jest, are totally uncalled for and extremely hurtful.

It's not about who was in the audience but who is on the stage.

Well, I understand there are going to be older people in the audience. Time makes you bolder, children get older and we are all getting older too But my husband was just thinking out loud by what he said.
And as for me, I'm just jealous. I hope when you go to your shows though you take full advantage of your front row seats and not just sit there and do nothing.
Last night Lindsey talked about change and we were just wondering if seeing "older" people in the audience makes him more aware of his own mortality. Not meant to hurt feelings, so put away the tissues.

This was the first show I've seen at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Personally, I enjoyed the venue for Lindsey's Atlanta 2006 show better: the Variety Playhouse. The entire floor general admission, and everyone standing.

Having said that, in defense of of the Woodruff Arts Center:

- The audio acoustics were superb. My ears are very attuned to the audio acoustics. And this venue was fantastic in that regard. It was a real treat to have the audio quality so superb, it reminded me of my studio reference in-ear monitors. Yeah, it was really, really sweet sound at the Woodruff Arts Center.

- The ushers working there were all like my Mom's age. They were really sweet and helpful. Much more so that most venues.

Yes, I totally agree with you on both points. I also liked the fact that they weren't into searching your bag and making you feel like you were there to cause trouble before you even got through the door. I remembered seeing the ASO and The Nutcracker there as a child and being impressed then with the acoustics. Big A+ for that.

These are great!! Did you happen to record when Lindsey shook hands with people in the front row? I was lucky enough to be one of the people who got a handshake!! I'm hoping someone recorded it!!!
