Fall TV 2007

That's right, it's the thread to discuss all the new & returning shows you're excited about this coming season!

That being said, I'm not thrilled this year for some reason.

I know, shocking, the TV whore doesn't care. But I don't all that much.

I meant to watch Gossip Girl last night, but Mark was watching History channel & I didn't feel like leaving the room to watch another TV. Same with Kid Nation.

Pushing Daisies is getting rave reviews. I may give that one a try. Same with the family saga starring Jimmy Smits (is it called Cane or did I make that up?)

Returning shows I'll watch again are Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, Heroes...what the hell else do I watch?

I can't even remember. The comedies, I still like Christine (which I hear will be a midseason replacement

) and Scrubs. 30 Rock is alwasy good, so is Earl & The Office. OH! Almost forgot Grey's - I'll probably check out Private Practice too, but I don't have my hopes up. Oh, and Brothers & Sisters is a great show.

I'm watching the Biggest Loser too. Waiting for Project Runway. Anyone know if there will be a new Amazing Race? I usually don't watch Survivor, but I may have to check it out - it's in China this year. Might be interesting.

)
Ghost Whisperer
Ugly Betty

L word (not back til Jan though)

The Amazing Race is not coming back to television until next year.

Shows I'll be watching:

Grey's Anatomy
ANTM
Gossip Girl (wow....a wonderful series premier!!!!!!!!!)
Project Runway
Pushing Daises
Survivor
...there's another show on the CW that I want to watch but forget the name

danax6 · #4 09-20-2007, 04:19 PM

Grey's Anatomy
CSI Las Vegas
Friday Night Lights
Dexter
The Office
Desperate Housewives

Yeah, that's about it. I'm not even going to bother with Private Practice, the double episode feature on Grey's bored me to tears. I might check out Weeds also, my sister says it's right up my dirty little alley.

Let's see...

Medium (once the NFL season is over)
Ghost Whisperer
My Name Is Earl
The Office (well, since 30 Rock is sandwiched in between those two, I'll be watching that, too. Scrubs has "jumped the shark" for me. I guess I've watched too many syndicated reruns that I'm burnt out on the show...even if they're new episodes...we dropped ER off our watch list about three seasons ago. Just lost interest; the plot was going nowhere)
Numbers
Bones
House
Nip/Tuck
CSI (the orig)
Las Vegas (a former neighbor of mine is an extra on the show since its inception...in last season's finale, he finally got a line. He's gotten lines in four of the first six episodes of this coming season...maybe if the show lasts a few more seasons, he might even finally get to "character" status.)
Dancing With The Stars

And, I always enjoy a new season of America's Funniest Home Videos.

Also, we never tire of South Park or Reno 911

If we HAD Showtime (which we don't), we'd be watching Dexter, since we just happened to catch the entire first season last year when we were in Denver awaiting the birth of our grandson. (the hotel where we stayed for those three weeks had Showtime. And, in that time, they showed reruns of the entire first season building up to the finale just before Christmas). We also got hooked on Sleeper Cell during that trip, too...but apparently, two seasons is all it lasted.

), and the l word of course, although as pip said, that's not starting till january, goddammit >

I cant wait for The Office to come back
plus the Monday night CBS schedual.

I dont Think Ill like the Big Bang Theory though, and Rules of Engagment was NOTHING compared to The Class.

Id Rather Christine/The Class than BBT and RoE...

But CANT WAIT for How I Met Your Mother and 2 and A Half Men.

My DVR has been lonely this summer and just waiting to record all the shows I don't have time to watch. So, come say December I will usually have about 5 episodes of each of my favorites to try to catch up on. I haven't paid much attention to the new stuff but always try to catch:

ER
The Office
Grey's Anatomy
Desperate Housewives
Law and Order ( I can watch any of them)
CSI (except New York if it's even still on)
Brothers and Sisters (Sally Field deserved the Emmy for this!)
The L Word (it's really a good show. Please bring back Marina!)

plus all the trash I love on Bravo and TLC

CelticGypsy · #13 09-28-2007, 12:24 PM

Desperate Housewives
Dancing with the Stars
Beauty and the Geek
Survivor
Ugly Betty
America's Next Top Model
The Bachelor - even though he's not that great but I love the drama among the women

My daughters got me hooked watching that stupid "The Hills" show

I've been watching Rock of Love. I like the girl with the pink/blonde hair. Can't remember her name but I hated that red haired girl, Lacey. She was something else out of this world

Deal or No Deal.
Amazing Race
Love Big Brother but it sure does ruin your summer. lol I am obsessed about that stupid show. lol
