Nah. Many homos I know don't care for her.

I don't loathe her myself. I think of Cher in terms similar to how I think of Vegas - sheer cheese and camp. Her gift is taking that and elevating it to an art form. She is spectacle personified. I could never regard her as an Artist the way I look at most of the singers and musicians I admire, but she amuses me in terms of culture and sheer entertainment value. I don't see that she has an emotional investment in her music, but she doesn't pretend to. She is a SHOW. And she does it the way it should be done. Full Vegas, baby.

As a person, I think she is pretty cool. I love her f- you take no prisoners attitude. Must say, shame about the face, though.

I have no idea who the artist is - but I keep hearing it on the radio and cringe - the lyrics are stupid - some guy thumbing through a photo album - "This was when we were in school...what's that in Jimmy's hair..." I don't know, I just hate it...

Christy!?! Suspicious Minds is only my faaavorite Elvis song. And there isn't a bad Beatles song, imo. Some silly ones, yeah, but not bad.

Thought of more:

Anything by Mariah Carey

-Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffet. HATE!
-Lady in Red - Chris DeBurgh or whatever. ew.
-Beautiful-Christina Aguilera (not so beautiful..song makes me ill)

And I'm not too knowledgable about new music - but I'm sure if I turned on a top 40 station I'd be able to fill more space...I'm admittedly closed-minded about music - but I am getting slightly better

Ugh...it's Nickelback. The guy sings like he's painfully constipated.

That's "photograph" by Nickelback such a moronic song - but the thing that gets me with them is they seem to be re-releasing the exact same song with different words - all their stuff sounds the same to me.

And ITA..there is no such thing as a bad Beatles song!

I love to hate that song, it's so bad! Their songs sound like bad beer commercial jingles.

The lyrics are truly vomit-inducing. "Kim's the first girl I kissed...I was so nervous that I nearly missed..." Of course the fact that I even know the lyrics is, in itself, a bit sad.

what's really sad - is ...it's actually sort of become a guilty pleasure song *don't hit me*

I know it sucks - it's ridiculously bad - but I listen to it everytime I hear it on the radio

That's because they're probably using subliminals in their songs .
Or, it's because they play that wretched song every 5 minutes on the radio, so you can't avoid it even if you try .

"I Want To Know What Love Is."

Gotta be the most overblown, overproduced, sappy, and cloying number one song of all time. I'll never forget that story about a group of studio execs crying when they heard it - not because they were moved, but because they'd make so much money over the coming year.
