I agree with Trackie about Britney. I do think she looks better in those photos than I've seen her look before.

Some of them, she should have been a bit more covered (like the one on the cover - too much boob showing) but all in all they are okay. She definitely looks way better with dark hair and photoshopping. I clearly don't think as many of them are as "icky" as everyone else does, but then, I forgot who I was dealing with. The prude parade that is the ledge...

"Everything is tacky!!!".

Also, I can't spare any of my hate, as it is all concentrated on Mariah, who is the most sickening person I've ever seen/heard. I f*cking hate her. She's a pig.

Did you watch the clip from the View that Suze posted in the Star Jones thread? Sandra Bernhard made a few quips about Mimi that you'd probably appreciate.

The whole interview is worth watching.

On a side note, my friend is living in NYC this summer and apparently goes to the same gym as Sandra.

I have two daughters who are around Britney's age. I am glad my daughters are not the ones on that magazine cover. What sane woman would even pose naked while pregnant and then let the public (other than their husband) see those photos? That includes Demi Moore

Did their hormones attack their brain cells during the first trimester? It is all about their constant need for love, attention and the media will play into their hands so that money keep rolling into their bank accounts. It is pure and simply greed.

Instead of posing for photos and hanging out in clubs with her dimwitted mate, they need to attend a few parenting and birth control classes

I have never been a fan of Britney's music. What I have heard of it has been of little interest to me. What she seems to represent, and the trends she started in her generation of artists...suspect. But I watched the dateline inerview, and I didn't think she was all that bad. And I have gotten to know some people who are very close to her, and I now find I can't really say much bad about her. Funny, that.

I don't think so. I try not to let one person "speak" for an entire population. Like, for instance, Bush is from Texas but that doesn't mean he represents us. Believe me, he doesn't represent me or the oodles of people I know and love in this state. Watch your generalizations David!
