I'm pretty sure all those songs were in the movies mentioned. Violet & Blue is v. briefly heard in a nightclub in Against All Odds, Somebody Stand By Me is heard when the main characters are driving along a highway in Boys On The Side I think, Marty McFly wakes up to Time Bomb Town on his alarm clock, On The Wrong Side is in another driving scene in With Honors and so on.

Sleeping Angel is definitely in Fast Times but I can't remember where exactly.
Anyone remember? I have a feeling it may be after Jennifer Jason Leigh has the abortion.

I believe it is played as she waits on the curb for Mike to pick her up.

After reading through this thread one thing is glaringly obvious: F.M. sure did contribute some good music to some really crappy movies .

Since we can have TV, The Chain was the theme music for the BBC Formula 1 highlights programme in the 80's and 90's.

Albatross is currently being used as backing music for Marks and Spencer food adverts here in the UK.

The Dance version of Landslide was played in "Jack Frost", the forgettable movie with Michael Keaton.

Sisters of the Moon was used in Bertolucci's "Last Emperor."

really?? WHEN! I don't remember it.

I do remember Twisted in Twister. Johnny Stew is right I think, but the song was hard to get heared.
