I'd probably be upset if I drunkenly stumbled & almost dropped my kid in front of a bunch of papparazzi too.

Did you watch the video? The bitch is f**ked up. I feel sorry for her. Nice black bra under the white halter.

OK, first of all, the wind whipping through your hair may feel great, Brit, but I'm pretty sure it deosn't feel great on an infant's face. And second, the car seat should face the back of the vehicle, and your baby should be buckled in securely so that he isn't slumped over.

She's a pig, I f*cking hate her.
The other thing about this that I haven't seen mentioned in any of the coverage is that the baby was in full sun with no covering. That, coupled with the wind in the convertible, could easily and quickly dehydrate him. Maybe she put sunblock on him, but given all the other stuff I can't help but doubt that she did.

I'm still perplexed by the gun comment.

Good time to have a gun? What...for her kid to play with? That's about how responsible she seems.

She knows she's in the public eye...she knows people are following her/filming etc....you'd think that extra caution would be taken as per her kid...then again it's Britney Spears. Idiot.

I assume she's implying that the papparazzi caused her to be afraid & stressed & that's why she almost dropped her kid? So if she had a gun, she could protect herself? Hmmmmm...

Here's the thing - I don't like her. BUT I will say that these things happen all the time. Are you telling me none of your moms almost (or did ) accidentally drop you? Never, ever? She doesn't appear to be doing anything wrong in this case, and it must be hard to be under constant scrutiny when you're a first time parent. Mistakes are always made, but usually the whole world isn't witness.

Of course, concern is increasing about her parenting skills (or lack thereof) since the whole "fall from the highchair" thing, then the "driving with baby unrestrained in car"thing, then the "driving with baby facing forward in car" thing. Those seem to be bordering on negligence, IMO. So no wonder everyone's watching her with a magnifying glass.

Which is why, I'd think, at least in public she'd be extra vigilant - extra careful. Like...gee...using BOTH hands to hold the kid

I do realize that things like this happen everyday - to probably every parent...does any parent not have a story about their kid falling off something? It happens...but over and over again? It's worrisome...and I'm sorry - I gotta say, Federline produces some of the ugliest kids I've ever seen

As a mother, there have been times when I've asked myself if I will ever get this child raised without him losing extremities, etc., etc. Until you've had a child it's probably hard for you to fathom all the things than can and will happen. Happens to the best of Moms and Dads out there everyday.

I say if I had to live my life in that fishbowl, I's be horrified. I also will say that the way she had her seat complied with the law and subsequent pics indicate she has turned it around.

I am not a huge fan of her - actually, she disinterests me. But, I think she means and meant no harm to her child and the media attention somewhat sickens me.
