especially at something like this...most of the people probably want to hear something they associate with her...Landslide, Dreams, Stand Back etc.

those who don't follow her every move aren't as easily annoyed at the lack of variety in what she chooses to sing. to some of us Landslide, et al. are beaten to death, but to some I'm sure it's a pleasure to see/hear it.

I respect people's opinions to be sure, but I wonder if some of these people are going to be complaining about songs she sings after she's gone.

I've said that as well and it would be interesting to see what naysayers have to say when that happens; tho I don't believe it ever will happen...she'll live forever...she is a witch after all

Oh, now you've made me sad

Landslide is a beautiful song.. no matter who's backing her up on it... plus it's relatively easy to pull off.

She won't perform anything new or obscure on a show like this.. maybe in concert you can hope for the odd surprise.

Thanks for posting the pics as well!!

I was 31 years old the first time I saw Stevie perform solo-wise (TISL tour) and 33 when I saw FM perform for the first time (Finally heard "Landslide" live at the July 1,2003 OKC show...That show is still fresh in my memory due to the exhuberant crowd response to any/all songs Stevie sang, except for "Beautiful Child" where most of the "fair-weather" fans in attendance were puzzlingly scratching their heads unlike us diehards, I remember our own Ledgie "Livia" was the only fan on the floor who stood during BC! Of course our other Ledgie "shackin' up" was mesmorized by Lindsey's guitaring...Alas I headbanged during "I'm So Afraid", Ol' metal habits die hard!)

I am so glad she did "Beautiful Child" for us diehards. It was really moving; if not the highlight of the show for me.

me too. I remember I couldn't hardly believe the words were coming out of her mouth and that I was witnessing it. Now, I just wish I had been able to see Sara...

Exactly!

And those pics are stunning. I got excited about the sleeves (OMG, that's a new outfit!) until I saw the shredded chiffon - not so excited about that. Oh well, she still looks beautiful.

I was mesmorized by seeing Stevie (Who sang "Sara" in Dallas in 2004), for not so much the song but the way her "2 birds of Rhiannon" were out and in effect that night (I remember thinking to myself "Dayum...She is sending a message to someone in the crowd at this show that these birds are needing some attention!!!")

I was very disappointed in "Sara." I enjoyed hearing it live, but upon listening to the boots, it was just okay. BC was 10 times better, IMO.

I had forgotten about the Two Birds of Rhiannon. (The phrase, not the birds themselves. She looked super sexy.)

I get what you mean, definitely. I loved it during the Belladonna/Tusk days.
