I find you need to let the pale grey bar load the whole way, the reason it's stopping and starting is because it hasn't loaded properly ... usually.

SOTM is fairly weird alright, but I love it, it's very intense. Stevie? Dressed strange?! That'd never happen ...

She didn't seem happy in this interview period. Notice the look she gives Lindsey when he makes the 'musical soap opera' comment. She didn't seem pleased.

I never started liking Stevie or Fleetwood Mac until The Dance, so seeing Stevie in a hood & the outfit she was in for SOTM was weird to me. Seeing her in her black dress is normal to me, but I guess SOTM is a strange song. Maybe she's supposed to look like that for that song. It's kind of a spooky song, sort of like Halloween or something, but I like it. I don't like the singing in this video of this song for some reason; I like the version on the Best of better.

Yep, I see your point. Her style changed a lot.... but the more it changes, the more it remains the same...

Let me check that ... She looks great on Solid Gold, doesn't she? I don't think that's Sharon singing with her either, but it's not Lori. Sharon is in the blue outfit I think, and Lori in black beside her. I don't know who the third singer is though...

Well I think Lori is the one in the Red Dress and the lady in black is actually Marilyn Martin or Mimi as Stevie would call her.

Has anyone watched the Stand Back vid from 1991? This is not the Stevie I picture from 1991. Her hair isn't crazy big, she isn't wearing an outrageous outfit, and she moves and spins. She also looks pretty small. Interesting.

I think you're probably trying to play the vid. before the entire file has downloaded. These are BIG files and they take time to download.
(Look closely - there's a darker area moving slowly to the right - that shows you the progress of the video downloading. But when you PLAY the vid., there's an even DARKER area which shows you how far into the vid. you are.)
So I'd suggest just going off and doing something else for five minutes while the entire file downloads, with the volume off, and then coming back to it and watching the entire thing at once. It should play smoothly then. What's happening, I think, is that the thing's playing up to the point where it's downloaded to, so far - and then stopping until it gets more of the file from the server. Can't play something that hasn't been dowloaded yet, in other words... So just give it time to download the entire thing and then play it all at once.

Look at it this way - in the dim, dead days of the early 90s (lmao!), a file this whoppingly HUGE would have taken three hours to download, and then your entire computer would have crashed for three days halfway through the video!

P.S. - OOOPS! OH, sorry, I just realized a couple of other people already answered this (and better than me, I think...) But I'll leave it up any-way in case it's still helpful, somehow. OH well. . . .
