There were tickets available on Stevie's recent solo

Allow me to splooge myself from excitement. Those tickets you speak of are, what, lawn seats? Or seats they were trying to fill because she wasn't selling well enough? Her ticket prices are too high, Fleetwood Mac's ticket prices are too high, and since Tom Petty has said numerous times that he doesn't believe in stealing ****loads of money from his fans like that, the chances of him agreeing to do so with Stevie are pretty much nil.

I think Stevie would sell better if she lowered the prices and made better merchandise...for cryin' out loud!

Sharing a stage with the likes of Heart and Pat Benatar would require more of Stevie than croaking out Rhiannon like an old bag if she wants to do anything but embarrass herself. Homegirl really shines when she sings the slower stuff like Beauty and the Beast and HAEWAFY, but when she has to rock out, forget it. She's lazy.
Debbie has vocal stamina! Yeah right. The last time i seen her on TV she sounded like ****. And when Stevie's voice gets passed the potato's she still sounds young. Tell you what, I'll clean the potato's out of my ears when you actually admit that you cant stand Stevie. All you do is rag on her. She cant sing, she cant write, she dresses like ****. I've read your posts and honestly don't know why you are a fan anymore.

I think she'd sell better if she lowered ticket prices and played smaller venues. Make it more of a singer-songwriter show than a rock show. It would kick ass. She wouldn't have to strain her voice by singing those rock songs and she could showcase how great she sounds on the slower numbers like Beauty and the Beast & Beautiful Child & Goodbye Baby. But that's just my dream.

I don't think better merchandise would help her ticket sales, but it wouldn't hurt to fire her brother and prevent **** like that rainbow t-shirt from being manufactured in the first place.

You can bet your ass she does. Can she hit all the notes she did twenty years ago? Hell no. But her voice is stronger, richer, and much more powerful.

Might I suggest Beltone?

I just wanted to add that in there. The tourbook this year was lackluster and the person who made it was nonchalant. The promo add is a picture from four years ago and she looks different today...I mean really, how much can I rant about. What's the name of this thread?

I recently saw Pat Benatar on one of her summer county fair tours. Her voice is not that strong anymore, but she puts far more energy into her shows than Stevie. Like Stevie, however, she sticks with nearly the same setlist tour after tour. She even admits she hates Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and then sings it.

Heart, on the other hand, blows both of them out of the water. They are still making powerful music and Ann's voice is in excellent form.

Ann Wilson's voice is quite a phenomenal instrument. I just got a new Heart bootleg on DVD and I just about lost it when she sang "Black On Black." That ****ing voice, crikey. She doesn't dodge any notes live. And Nancy has suddenly become an absolutely ace singer. I really noticed it when they released Live In Seattle.

Sorry, I have to butt in and correct you because this makes it sound like they are part of a "70's Flashback package deal tour" or something. They are still touring regularly in normal tour fashion (all different types of venues).
