It is probably the label who is pushing this GH/retrospective package. The last time it was scheduled to be released...Stevie never talked about it. The way she just tossed it out in this interview doesn't make me want to buy it either, but I will. Her heart does not seem into it, that is why I think the label is behind the whole idea.

As for no more recording...I pretty much thought that eight months ago and posted about it. Everyone disagreed, vehemently. She is not going to record forever and maybe she wants to move on into other things in life? I do not think she is selling out....perhaps her priorites are just changing.

When you get to be a rock star for so many years, there will inevitably be lot's of Best of's and Greatest Hits.

Bowie has several, Heart has several, Led Zeppelin keeps em coming, Doors, etc.

I'm not a big fan of TimeSpace so I'm looking forward to a better collection which will be up to date as well.

Now what really needs to happen, and just in time for Christmas is the damn Buckingham Nicks CD.

Why?! Honestly, I don't understand this. Why would anybody here who owns all of Stevie's albums buy this CD if there's nothing new on it?

Maybe it's the thrill of going out to buy a new Stevie Nicks release. Too bad I don't find throwing fifteen dollars away to be as thrilling.

YEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, I love my VBOFM discs and they had nothing new.

I get that you can burn a disc in that sequence, etc., but, to me, the burned stuff never has as good a sound as the stuff I buy.

Rip them as WAV files instead of MP3's and they will.

Awhile back when I was explaining that downloading music was stealing no matter how anyone may justify it, you went on about how you used to steal crap from the local store and how now that you have DSL, you download music instead of buying it. But, if you say I am in error, so be it

As a kid, yes.

You are in error. I never said that. I download songs from new albums to see if I want to buy them and if I don't like what I hear, I don't buy them. Pretty much the same thing as going to a record store and listening to them before you buy them.

Were those tracks remastered at all? I think I remember reading something about that.
