I must admit, I do love me some Chris. She's the only one I can stand in rock music over the long term. Everyone else just annoys me.

I wonder how many pianos she has in her home. La Nicks has those two we saw in that photo spread of her Phoenix house and a keyboard or two. But, I see Chris with several as well. After all, she had them craned into hotel suites

She has at least one in her house...the original one that she used to write "Songbird".

I love her

Probably a Yamaha, since that's always been her preferred brand.

I wonder is she, like Stevie, has a Bosendorfer and if so, if she ever plays in the extra octave on each side?

We need answers to these questions LOL

Honestly, it was probably an endorsement from Yamaha, that resulted in her preference. Nothing says "love" like a free grand piano.

I think you're becoming a curmudgeon in your old age, David. MTM is the best album Fleetwood Mac has ever released. That said, it is incomparable to ANY other Fleetwood Mac album due to its strength from track to track...no other Fleetwood Mac album can even come CLOSE to claiming that. There is NO weak link on MTM. Even their cover tune has been revamp to become a Fleetwood Mac song. Can't say that about ANY other cover that Fleetwood Mac has recorded...(well, maybe "Blue Letter")

I think there are a lot of weak links on the album, including a number of faults of taste, faults of arrangement, faults of production, faults of songwriting. "Keep On Going" is certainly a keeper, though, & "Forever" is catchy & a personal favorite ... I wish I could play it with a group.

Do you think so? I don't know ... what she has said over the years really sounds like pure consumer satisfaction with Yamaha product -- not a bought opinion.

It's not at all surprising to find pro pianists crowing about Yamaha pianos. They're 'grand.'

They are great, but in the 90's they suffered a little in quality IMO.

Steinway will continue to be my fav.

When you take a Steinway and copy it piece-by-piece, yeah, it's going to be a "grand" product.

Yeah, well, if Yamaha wants to give me a free grand piano, I'll go to the ends of the Earth proclaiming their greatness. Hell, I'll even get Yamaha tattoos!
