For the most part, it didn't.

"God" rained down disease and killed off the weak before they grew into adulthood and our modern social safety nets didn't exist. Abortion existed, though.

"History of Abortion

Abortion induced by herbs or manipulation was used as a form of birth control in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome and probably earlier. In the Middle Ages in Western Europe it was generally accepted in the early months of pregnancy. However, in the 19th cent. opinion about abortion changed. In 1869 the Roman Catholic Church prohibited abortion under any circumstances. In England and in the United States in the 19th cent. stringent antiabortion laws were passed."

Again with your ignore button obsession.

Why haven't you addressed the answers Tower & I gave you? About technology?

EDIT: Of course, now you're gone. Seems to happen a lot that you post & debate here for a few hours & then leave suddenly, usually when things get heated or someone poses you a difficult question or seriously answers a sarcastic question you had asked.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence. No big. Hopefully you can address Tower's & my posts when you get back.

Because it doesn't change the point of my original idea that abortion is murder. What you post about abortions is the past I already knew about, and I never claimed that "modern technology" was the cause of abortion..."modern stupidity" can be blamed for that.

People are stupider now?

I know what you meant, but I wanted to point out that this is NOT a new problem. Abortions have been done for years & years & nobody ever talked about it. It wasn't an issue, because there weren't any laws addressing it. People just did what they felt they had to do, whether it was dangerous/deadly/wrong/whatever.

But it isn't the governments job to make the "destruction of babies" legal. The point is that the case for Roe v. Wade was never a strong one to begin with.
