Default Those wonder-ful harmonies. . . .

"Who would I like Stevie to sing with" -

Hmmm - ME!
No?
Oh, okay -
How about Kelly Clarkson? At The Big Horse Race Thing?
I LIKE the Michelle Branch thing, though, that would be COOL!
And Pat Benatar -

"You desperately search for a way to conquer the fear
No line of attack has been planned to fight back the tears
Where brave and restless dreams are both won and lost
On the edge is where it seems it's well worth the cost
Just when you think you got it down
Your heart in pieces on the ground
They whisper, Promises In The -- . . . . 1,2,3,FOUR -
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKK!"

oooooh, wow could that be good. . . .

What circle dance appreciation thing from Bonnie Raitt? I just saw her in St. Louis!

My thought exactly. I went through Pat's songs today and this is the one that stuck out in my mind as a serious contender for Stevie to cover or duet with. Another solid rock song.

Jackson Browne is a great idea! He did a duet with Jann Arden years ago that is staggeringly beautiful.

I would also love her to sing with the lead singer of Theory of a Deadman. Don't even know his name - but I love his voice, and I bet Stevie would wrap her voice around his like buttah.

Actually . . .I agree.

I just heard his version of Rhiannon the other day. Made my boyfriend (he also likes Willie) listen to it.

Then, we were driving, and I had Space Needle playing. Jeff pipes up "Willie wouldn't sound bad doing this song, either".

As much as I don't particularly like Stevie, I disagree with your statement. Of the many people she's collaborated with, she sounds best with Lindsey and Tom but sounds good with several others. She sounded good with Walter Egan, John Stewart, Don Henley (and I don't like him either), Warren Zevon, Billy Burnette, and Rick Vito. Her work with people like Kenny Loggins, Macy Gray, Sheryl Crow, and what's her face from the Dixie Bitches... errr, Chicks, I most definitely could have gone my whole life without ever hearing and been better off for it.

I think a Stevie/Keith Urban duet would be interesting. Wasn't she the one he was writing about in "You'll Think Of Me"?

In all honesty though, as fine as Stevie is singing lately, she shouldn't share the mic with anyone!

Stevie and Grace Slick would be an interesting combination, or Stevie and Aretha Franklin would be interesting too.
