I actually sort of made that shirt. I started off with a plain black tank top, and I sewed the chiffon on for the sleeves. Usually when I try to make something it sucks, but this one turned out quite well. Chiffon is so hard to work with when you don't have a sewing machine. It's so damn thin and you need a teeny tiny needle.

Thanks! That was my favorite Stevie custome I ever came up with. I really want to ditch the Kiss-like vinyl boots and get some more Stevie-ish ones, but they aren't cheap!

On Halloween, I like being a movie character or a famous tsunami scientist. This year I think I'm going to be Kenji Satake, who played an instrumental role in the study of the 1700 subduction quake & tsunami.

Vampires are sexy. There are alot of cool vampire custumes out there. Check out www.trashy.com if you like trashy custumes. I haven't looked through many of them yet, but my boyfriend was kind enough to point me to a website of slutty custumes. Imagine that!

Or you could combine scientist/ movie character: Jeff Goldblum has played some great scientist characters, and there is always Christopher Walken in "Brainstorm"
Or I could be quiet and let you plan your own costume, as you were already doing.

I'm going as a sexy vampire this year, and my daughter's going as Cinderella...as opposed to Sinderella, which I went as last year.
This year's costume:

Dark Venus

For parties, I'm going as Edie Sedgwick. I just need to toussel my hair and paint my eyebrows a little thicker, and do my makeup really mod. But for trick-or-treating, I'm dressing up as Courtney Love, circa 1994. One of my friends is going as Kurt Cobain, one as Trent Reznor, and one as Marilyn Manson. 90s flashback. Etc.

I went as Debbie Harry a few times. That went over well. I also went as Gwen Stefani for a dance, but my wig wasn't really great. I could use the wig for my Edie costume. Hm..
