I will pray for you and your families' strength, and your dad's health. I'm sorry I don't have any words of encouragement.

Be safe on your trip. I've made the drive from Miami to Orlando and back many times. It's a long boring 5 hours!

Brandon, I am praying for your family and your dad especially, but I wonder, what is that latest? Have you heard anything?

It's Friday afternoon and he had his first treatment at 10am. They are going to wait to see how the lymphoma cells in his bones react to the treatment and then give him a "clearer" answer. I am leaving tonight when my sister arrives from Little Rock and we are going together to visit him.

Thank you guys for your prayers and support. Dad is doing well. I am in Miami now, at his apartment taking a break from the hospital sit-ins. My dad normally sits at about 180lbs and he's down to 150 right now. He looks very sickly, and is awake for maybe 30 minutes every 2 hrs. He has his humor still...he tried to get me to run out and sneak in a cheeseburger for him. They are flushing his kidneys constantly so he's on the "liquid diet." He made me cry because I was sitting by his bed and he woke up and looked over at me and said, "You are a handsome boy. You dont look like me, but you're handsome." My dad NEVER says stuff like that. I had to go outside and cry a bit. Anyway...we will find out Monday from his blood work whether or not he is reacting to the treatments. Love you guys.

I'm glad to hear he is doing well, what a nice thing for him to say to you. I'm all misty. Y'all remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Brandon, I am so very sorry. I certainly pray that the test results show some improvement. Hang in there, honey.
