Janis was the first TRUE female ROCKER. (point of clarification that didnt go from one page to another)

Madonna copied Cher's ability to transform herself...

Ah, ok I see now And I agree

No, that honor goes to Grace Slick. The original (and greatest) female rocker.

Madonna copied Debbie Harry, not Cher. She's practically admitted as much over the years.

Back to the Fashion Rocks thing...

What did everybody think about Gwens performance? I thought she did a really great job. "Cool" is a really wonderful song and I really enjoyed the performance. As for Duran Duran I enjoyed "Nice" more than "Girls on Film".

Yeah I'm a sucker for Billy Idol, and that song kicks, but still - There were really good rock harmonies, the band was very good, and LMP wore a black mini with a black bridal veil. LMP almost always looks pretty *rock* good.
She has that face. And I definitely like her voice quality.

Also Billy looked very good, in a weathered way *crush*.

I'm only *80's* human. I mean, I listen to Rebel Yell regularly.

(hi, Livia! )

Great closer.

I LOVE LMFP! She rocked last night w/ Billy Idol.

I also really enjoyed Rob Thomas and Joss Stone doing "Stop Dragging my Heart Around".
